I love everything about this container except for the fact that it is fully glazed. I was looking for a breathable clay, which was the impression given by it's image - my mistake.

I'm very pleased with this jar, item is exactly as described and the perfect size to hold my Maldon flaked salt. Well packaged too.

It didn't work for what I wanted to use it for; but that was the fault of the condiment, not this little jar. For sugar it would be perfect. For salt, not so much -- unless you're using it for cooking and not for the table. The jar itself is good quality and has style without being too cutesy cute. I like that it's ceramic, since I've read about too many issues that happen with bamboo. As long as you're filling it with something that you need decent sized spoonfuls of, this jar is for you.

It's bigger than you think it would be. Looks great in my kitchen with my various other spice jars. I also got a friend one for Christmas, and they loved it. Definitely recommend.

This salt container is really pretty. However, the lid was broken. I still use it without the lid.

I will be using this for my stevia. The jar looks just beautiful and obviously hand painted. I like to fill my home with unique items and this fits right in. For anyone wondering- it's plenty big enough [ the size of any other sugar bowl) I plan on ordering more for Christmas gifts along with perhaps some special himalayan salt to go with it since we have many cooks in the family. Love this purchase!
