For a handheld vacuum to suck up small messes, this thing is fantastic. I use it to clean up dust balls, dry cereal the kids spill, things like that. For the size, the suction is excellent, and I personally prefer corded vacuums because while they're less convenient than battery powered devices, they're more powerful and don't have batteries to degrade over time.Now, understand that this is NOT a vacuum for cleaning carpets -- it is intended for FLOORS ONLY. And for floors, this works very well. If you are looking for a vacuum for carpets, look elsewhere.The vacuum seems pretty well made -- robust cord, nice aluminum tube, solid construction. I'll update if there are any reliability issues over time. So far I'm very pleased.UPDATE: I have been using this vacuum pretty much ever day since I got it and it continues to impress -- it's a great little vacuum. Also, I'll confirm that this is indeed a cyclonic vacuum and not just a cheap lookalike. When you use it, the debris swirls around very rapidly in the catchment container. This is, without exaggeration, the best small vacuum I've ever had. And anyone who dings this for having a cord or not working on carpets.....don't criticize something for what it isn't and doesn't claim to be. This is obviously a vacuum with a cord, and it explicitly says it is for floors, not carpets.

Updated: plastic neck broke after 9 months on 2 models. Very brittle plastic. Unfortunate........Great product and a great pricepoint. I'm happy I went with corded because I like to thoroughly vacuum and the 25min run time of virtually all stick vacuums would have been so annoying. I have 600sq ft apt and a medium sized dog. This is excellent for that combination. Amazingly light. Some reviews said it doesn't work well on carpet... I'm wondering if they have shag rugs because this works extremely well on the rugs I have. Even works well on the bathroom rugs that are shag-like microfiber with 1.5 inch height. Would recommend for anyone not willing to Shell out an arm and a leg for a decent vacuum.

This corner of the vacuum market has historically been saturated with infuriatingly ineffective pieces of colorful future-trash whose massive suckage was entirely figurative rather than practical. I refused to own one for the past 10 years following a violent breakup with a certain devilish machine. I have a Kirby where you can turn off the brush to do bare floor and rugs, and I prefer to do work manually in general.However I now have 5 children, including 4 young boys and somehow bought a house in a location gravity seems to have a stronger effect, leading to a constant layer of debris landing on the wood, tile, and rugs combined with less time to clean. Grodie.In comes iWoly. I had low expectations and bought a microfiber dustmop/mop setup at the same time. I have been amazed at this minibeast! It really sucks! I haven't used the dustmop kit at all. I do the bare floors and the rugs and its amazing. I was actually thinking about getting a second to put away for when this dies in case the company gets bought out and wrecked.One thing I wish was different was the filter-I wish there was a washable filter because I go through the paper ones very quickly, but I have a huge family filled with broken x chromosomes so ymmv. The other thing was the power switch on mine failed after a couple months. However, my regular vacuum repair place was able to replace it quickly and cheaply; turns out only one company makes those switches for all vacuums. Its completely possible one of my kids dropped the machine or something that I didn't see but it stopped working in the middle of me using it; turned it off to pick up a toy and didn't turn back on. Even if this was an inherent defect, I don't care, this vacuum actually kicks butt and was worth the extra $10 or whatev to fix the switch. I would definitely recommend.

To be honest I have never been satisfied with any portable house vacuum cleaners except my built-in central vacuum system. My "collection" of vacuum cleaners includes a severely overpriced Dyson which most disappointed me due to its poor performance and fragile structure. I need a working portable vacuum cleaner since dragging the long hose of my central vacuum is not always enjoyable to clean a small spot.I noticed this product a while ago accidentally. The description of the product features attracted me. I liked its light weight and detachable tube so I can use it to vacuum my cars. Of course its reasonable price was another factor leading to this purchase.When the product arrived, I assembled it in seconds without the need to read the manual and any tools. It came with a couple of accessories for tight spaces. The telescopic tube is extractable and detachable. It is truly light weight. It is made of plastic material of course but seemed well built. I don't think it is inferior to my previous Dyson which broke down after several uses. My first use of this product is to vacuum the hardwood floor of my kitchen. The suction power was excellent. I then used it to vacuum two of my vehicles by replacing the tube by the crevice tool and using a long power extension cord. It didn't disappoint me. Within minutes, the interior floors of my two cars are clean again. I'll see how long the product will last.I would recommend this product for its satisfactory suction power, light weight, and of course, reasonable price.
