City Threads Girls' Cotton Short Sleeve Skater Party Twirly Dress

When I ordered this dress I felt like it was priced a little high for what it is, but I was looking for a very specific purple shade for my daughters dress for our family pictures. It arrived somewhat rumpled in an envelope and was horribly wrinkled but after a good wash and ironing I am impressed with the quality and how soft and comfortable it is on her.

I bought this dress to have a fabric artist dye for Easter and it came out beautifully. The fabric is great quality and dress is well made. It held the dye well and fit my daughter as expected for the size.I bought several other City Threads dresses in other styles and sizes and was equally impressed. I do think the short sleeve option is my favorite (others are sleeveless) but all are beautiful! I plan to purchase in other colors for the future!

Well made dress! The fabric seems high quality and it fits my daughter with a little extra room, which is fine. She is tall and thin, but I think it would fit well on a more average-size kid too. The skirt is very swishy and she's been having fun twirling in it. We got the green one for her costume as a beanstalk in the school play, and I will probably buy a couple more in other colors for the summer. It's pricier than the Chinese-made stuff you see all over Amazon now, but this dress is much higher quality and actually fits my American kid.

I love the quality of City Threads clothing and I have yet to receive anything that needs to be sent back. Their clothing is a little on the large side, which I like because my daughter is taller than average. I wash everything on the delicate cycle (warm/cold) and hang dry. I always purchase early in the season before they run out of her size (6).

Perfect for a little 4 year old who loves to twirl! She loves the purple color and twirls like a dream. Great soft cotton fabric; shrink resistant after 4 washes and color fade resistant too. I do have her wear shorts underneath, because it is so twirly, you can see her panties, so make sure shorts are worn for happy twirlers!

I continue to stock up on this brand for my daughter for all the reasons mentioned I. The item description. My daughter is tall and thin so the dresses run a tad large on her but are long enough. The dresses look fine a little big and she has been getting two years wear out of them. They wash up beautifully. For the most part they release stains but my daughter does occasionally get some crap on them that won’t entirely wash out

The fabric is soft but very thin. It feels like it will wear out quickly (and I will be surprised if it doesn’t shrink). Out of the package, the size is as expected but I’m not sure how it will wash.I bought the purple, and the size-tag inside the dress was purplish too. So I am expecting the dye will bleed in the wash.I’m disappointed in the quality. Really not worth the price. I’ll keep it though, because of the super twirly circle skirt.

Super cute but really thin and see through, maybe it’s just the yellow, another color may provide more coverage. But it’s soo twirly my daughter LOVES this dress. I have it three stars because the price for the product is a little steep. It should be $10 considering how light weight it is!
