Great retrofit!
I bought this to update my motorhome wet bay. It is good with one caveat! Be aware that you need to tighten the center port as mine was not and came loose in just a few miles of use. It had not been properly tightened at the factory on assembly. Good thing I carry a lot tools with me so it was a non issue but could have done a lot of damage had I not noticed it being loose. I thought it was the hose connection at first but further digging I was able to unscrew it by hand as it had never been more than loosely threaded to start with at the factory, so be aware and tighten it before using. It needs a large Allen key but a very large screw driver will do the trick if you don't have one. It is well made but no well assembled. I would still buy it knowing that but I will double check all factory connections from now on on everything from this day forward. Now it should last longer than me and it is a good quality item. Thanks,John

Can't get it to stop leaking on the inside 1/2" threads.
I have tried 2 brand new different style fittings with Teflon tape and/or pipe dope, 4 tries in all and it still leaks at the threads to the interior. Purchased a plastic 15mm to 1/2" fitting and a brass fitting of the same size, no matter how I install it with tape or with dope, it still leaks. Almost as if it has a minor fracture in the housing. Very frustrating!!

Quality Heavy Piece Here!
A solid piece of stainless steel. Well made. I picked up the exact screws needed at my True Value store. The only thing I would say needs attention is the internal O-Ring and the threads that screw in from the front. I removed that bit entirely. I then used Teflon tape on the threads and waterproof plumbing grease on the O-Ring. I put it back together and snugged it up using an oversized Allen Key. It was actually the shaft on a tool I found at Auto Zone. Check the last picture for details.

Solid stainless with a screw in plastic cap that does not fall off by accident
Here we go again, you get what you pay for. For twice the money this does not disappoint, the cap can not come off by accident as it is screwed in, not pressure fitted and it is secured by a chain in case you forget to put it back. Also prevents water from splashing out when the tank is really full. I always love stainless compared to brass or plastic, it is more rugged and last many times longer.

Have to get a check valve separate.
Very good quality. Does not come with a check valve. I went to Lowe’s and purchased a sharkbite 1/2” check valve that was super easy to install. I have an older camper so I had to convert from PB to Pex right at the shark bite check valve, but other than that it was super easy to install. For those that don’t know you can use butyl tape on the back side of the flange to seal it.

Quality Product
This is a well made inlet and standard fittings work to plumb it in.

This is a nice solid heavy unit
I did not have a city water hookup on the boat, so when I wanted to installed one this is the part I used. Others have regulators inside and lots of other options, but I did not have the room for these. This is a nice solid heavy unit, no complaints there, the finish on the SS is nice and only time will tell how it holds up (been on the boat a while) and no rust yet.Others cost 3-4 times as much so I couldn't see spending that. I'll update my review if anything should change my initial review.

Too much for what it is
A little to pricey for what it is. Quality is ok could be better

Seals failed in less than a year.
Looks great and expected much better from this product, less than a year and the seals have failed making it useless.
