Positive: I like that they are no-drip. Negative: They smoke badly. Also, I wish that they didn't burn so quickly. Would I buy again?...Probably, until I find candles that don't smoke so much, burn more efficiently, and that are wider in diameter, yet still fit into a tapered-candle holder.

Week 1 of Advent is done and the candle has burned evenly without dripping wax down the sides. It may not make it through the four full weeks that we have this year. I plan to replace it with a white candle, to transition into Christmastide. The candle is purple throughout, and a lovely shade of purple at that. I am glad that I bought this set and not the less expensive ones that drip and the color chips off.

Every year for the church I hunt for Advent candles that might last through Advent without buying a second set. The service is only an hour long but the ceiling fans in this old church seem to hasten the burning in the Advent wreath. Colonial Candle gets my vote

These cost more than some other Advent candles but they are worth it. They arrived well-packaged, smell like a beeswax blend, and last a long time. They weren’t entirely dripless, but that’s probably because my wreath didn’t always hold them up straight. All of the wax is colored, not just a coating on the outside like some cheaper sets.

These candles were well worth the money. Longer in length and longer lasting. Essentially, no odor or scent. Dripping is minimal to none. Lights easy and sustains a consistent flame. They arrived intact so we had no issue, but vendor will replace if they happen to arrive broken. WELL WORTH THE MONEY; we are very satisfied and will purchase again.

These are beautiful, high quality candles, made in the USA. I was looking for something made with colored wax all the way through, not just white candles coated with color. That's what I got with these. They burned well and lasted through the season. I will definitely be buying them again.

I ordered this brand in both white and advent colors (pink and purple). I diligently trimmed the wicks down to ¼”. The white one burned more slowly and did not drip. The colored ones burned fast and dripped, even when I blew them out, trimmed the wicks and relit them. If I hadn’t done this, they would have dripped even worse. They were not in any sort of draft. They are just very drippy candles.These are the best quality I’ve found so far for advent candles, and they still aren’t very good.

We make our our Advent wreath every year and we always get the purple and pink candles, that's what I had a child, a LONG time ago. So now my husband and I can teach our grandchildren how to make one in a couple of weeks.

We used these candles for an Advent wreath. Unfortunately, three of them arrived broken because they weren't packaged well at all. My husband was able to cut them down so they were still usable, just not as tall as they should have been.

The candles were what I was looking for. Unfortunately the product arrived damaged.
