A History of the Philippines Paperback – August 17, 2010

I would definitely recommend this to every Filipino who wants to rediscover their heritage. The author has a different approach in retelling the past. This is not your typical Philippine history book that's for sure.

Aftre I ordered this book, I also ordered (later in time) Constantino's The Philippines: A Past Revisited thinking it was going to cover another period of Philippine history. But upon looking and comparing the Table of Contents, it was the identical book that Constantino wrote in 1975. I wonder why this publisher changed the title name and did not secure the permission of the original publisher or the author's?

This was a gift to a man who left there when he was 22 to make a life in theUSA. He liked the book a lot.
