Molds stick together, do not hold detail when pulled apart.
I have spent multiple hour long attempts to make a mold of a small weapon for one of my miniatures with no success. I will be purchasing the real "blue stuff" to compare to this. This is a long review laying out the process of how i attempted to utilize the productFirst attempt: i heated the thermoplastic in near-boiling water and pressed my master piece into the plastic while it was still hot, i then placed the 2nd half of the mold on top of the other while both sides were still pliable and worked my fingers around the molds in order to massage the air bubbles out; threw both halves in cold water to harden and pulled it out 5 minutes later to find both halves had bonded together and would not come apart.Second attempt: i figured the first half wasn't cold enough which was why it bonded to the 2nd, this time i heated the first half and pressed in my master piece but i placed it in my freezer so it would hold its shape. Next i placed my 2nd half over the 1st taking care to still get most of the air pockets out without pressing so hard that the two halves bonded (it takes a bit of force for the product to absorb all of the details). I left both halves together and placed in the freezer for 10 minutes to ensure the halves were rigid enough to pull apart without bending and losing details. This time the pieces came apart but there were spots where the halves had bonded together that did not come apart smoothly which left jagged edges within the mold leading to loss of detail.Third Attempt: this time I used a forming box and a very thin layer of oil between the two halves in the hopes the lubrication would prevent the halves from bonding; still had issues with the halves sticking together, the halves take so much force to pull apart that the mold gets stretched out and loses shape.Fourth attempt: i tried to heat the halves, press them together, let them briefly cool and pull them apart in the hopes i wouldn't give them enough time to bond. The problem with this is the mold doesn't hold its shape as you pull it apart; you have to leave the halves together as they harden/cool.In summary i am far from pleased with this product, it sticks to itself far too easily when hot but if you attempt to cool it down to a temperature where it doesn't stick to itself then it is not pliable enough to take on fine details. It is also very "rubbery" when you work with it and if you press too firmly it will take a shape but then recede back to its previous form which completely messes up the mold. Perhaps this is my user error and i am not prepping the product correctly but even then the product is very difficult to work with.

Too little, too much.
I just got my order. Credit card for scale. This is ridiculous. Way to much $$ for so little product. The pic with the ruler is misleading. It's not clear they are barely HALF AN INCH thick. I hope this stuff actually works the way it's supposed to.

Works great!
I used this clear clay to make molds for little clay charms that I make. This clay is very easy to use and works great for making my molds. The price is great too!!
