Marine Metal CB-3 Cool Bubbles Live Bait Bucket with Bubbles Aerator Pump (3.5 Gallons), White

Two part review on this product:The bucket is as advertised - a plastic bucket with a secure fitted lid, lined with Styrofoam. The bucket does it's job. I'd suggest tucking a frozen water bottle in the bait water for extra cooling on hot days. Kept my pike minnows happy for a few hours in the sun.The pump worked well the first few times I used it - each time getting ~ 100 hours of air on two D batteries.After the third battery replacement performance deteriorated rapidly - I got less than 24 hours of air off the third set of batteries (OK, maybe I bought duds), then perhaps 16 hours of life on the next set (a different brand, also freshly purchased). Then a fourth brand of battery, also new powered the unit for 2-3 hours. That's insane, I gave up.I know pumps have an expected lifespan, but I expected to get more than 30 days of use off a pump.

For anyone that wants to keep their bait alive for two to three days in hot weather, this is it. We're in Florida and both shiners and shrimp live for days in this bucket if it's in the shade and the pump is running. Don't hesitate to buy this product, it does EXACTLY what you want it to do. Pump is relatively quiet but will create some white noise while you are fishing.

The pump quit and all the minnows died due too no air flow! When the pump was running the turbulence was horrible. This was our 2nd purchase thinking it was just a fluke. It wasn’t. Wouldn’t recommended it ever buy again.

I have used these Marine Metal Cool Bait Saver buckets for years!!! Just bought my 4th one to replace one I originally bought over 28 years ago....The insulation always keeps the temperature stable!!! As long as you don't overcrowd the bucket and make water changes once in a day...it keeps the bait healthy and active....battery life is 72-76 hours constant....GC

Used the pumps for a couple years in normal plastic pails. Frequently adding ice on hot days and lost a lot of minnows, probably due to temperature changes. With the insulated bucket, hardly add ice at all and the minnows stay healthy longer.

The bucket looks nice was a little scuffed up when I got it but nothing that noticeable.

This will hold hundreds of minnows for days on the same batteries, I would buy this product again. It is also fairly priced
