Worth the price and vet recommended
Oravet dog chews are definitely on the pricier side, but they’re absolutely worth it to help avoid putting your dog under anesthesia for dental cleanings. We started giving one chew a day for the first few days, then switched to every other day—that routine has been perfect for keeping our dog’s teeth clean and her breath fresh. It’s a much-needed treat that not only supports dental health but also helps prevent those costly and stressful vet visits. Highly recommend for long-term care and peace of mind!

Took the Edge Off My Dog’s Bad Breath – Vet-Approved and Dog-Approved!
I have two vizslas — a wild puppy and a 7-year-old who’s sweet but has some seriously kickin’ breath. Before dropping $800 on a professional dental cleaning, my vet recommended trying these Oravet Dental Treats as a first step. So far, I’m impressed! My older dog actually loves the taste, which is saying a lot because he can be picky with treats. They’re firm enough to help with tartar buildup but not so hard that I worry about his teeth. I give him one daily, and we’re already noticing a mild improvement in breath — especially when paired with seaweed powder (algae-based) in his food. These aren’t a miracle fix, but they’re a solid and affordable part of a dental routine, especially if your dog isn’t quite ready for a full cleaning. Plus, no weird smell or mess like some other chews. If your dog’s breath is getting a little wild and you’re not quite ready for a big vet bill, these are definitely worth trying!

dog loves it
I bought this dental chew to help maintain my dog’s oral health, and my dog absolutely loves it. Although his poop turns green after eating it, this dental stick really helps keep his teeth clean. It’s a great product, and I’ll definitely keep buying it.

"It is like crack for dogs"
"It is like crack for dogs" - that's what our veterinarian said before we purchased our first bag, years ago.Our dog loves this so much and it really helps his breath. First off it smells amazing, it is a nice treat smelling it before giving it to the dog lol, and I bet it tastes amazing, since he loves eating it. It's not a hard chewing treat but it appears to get softer with saliva, making it a liiiiitle sticky and messy (my only con - he loves eating this stuff in our bed so very frequently I have green spots on my bedsheets).Tip: for sizing: since this thing is a little pricey I usually buy a bag for higher weights and cut the treat in half :)

Seem to be helping clean my dog's teeth!!
At only 3 years old, my dog has "moderate plaque and buildup on her teeth," according to the vet, more than normal at her age, meaning she's destined to need a cleaning sooner than later. Since dog dental is so expensive, I wanted to do anything I could to help put that off for a while. She refuses to let us brush her teeth, so I needed to try other options. These were on a list suggested by my vet. My dog loves them, and after a couple of months of them, they seem to have reduced some of the visible build up on her teeth! She thinks they're an awesome treat that she gets once a day, and I'm pleased they're working. They're a bit pricey, which is why I rated 4 instead of 5 stars, but using the subscribe and save via Amazon helps a little. And if it helps delay the $1500 dental cleaning at the vet ... then it's worth it!

Vet Recommended
This was actually recommended by my vet! I give my dog one every morning. She loves them, and we have not had any dental issues since we started using them. I love that they are individually wrapped for freshness. I have bought them a few times, and I will continue to buy them over and over again.

Gets rid of the tartar
I have been using these off and on for about a year. Price is a bit steep but cheaper than a dental cleaning at the vet. My dogs were starting to get some tartar build up on their molars and canines so I was looking for a good AAFCO approved enzymatic chew to help with it. The first bag (shared between two dogs) reduced it a lot. I bought more and was giving them once a week along with other chews to make them last longer and things were not getting worse but they still had some tartar build up on the molars. So the most recent bag I gave this chew every day until the bag ran out. Bag ran out this week. Looking at my boys teeth today I saw that all of the tartar is gone. These are still a little expensive for my budget so I buy a bag every 3 months and use other dental chews in the meantime. I will do the every day until they are gone routine again from now on. Yes they make the dog poop green. This can be a bit of a problem when trying to locate poops in grass when your dog chooses to go all the way on the other end of the dog park from where you are standing. My dogs love them and even my epileptic dog with a sensitive stomach does not have any digestive issues from them.

No more bad breath
My vet recommended these chews for my dog because my dog had bad breath. My dog loves these chews and gets excited when it's time for her chew. My dog no longer has bad breath. I am not sure how well the chews are cleaning her teeth. My dog hasn't had any digestive or poop problems since I started giving her these chews.
