Works as expected. The beep to indicate that the temperature is ready is not very loud. It was easy to switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius. I like the small clear plastic case. Not able to evaluate accuracy because I don’t have any other thermometer.

This was purchased to take the temperature of our horses. It’s easy to use and fast. If you’ve ever taken a horses temperature, you want it to be quick. My 10yo is in charge of this process and has a very easy time with it.We like that the tip is flexible. The readings are very easy to see and it reads the temperature quickly. I’m getting another just like it for our human first aid kit. Excellent for the home and barn.

The feel and use is good quality. I can't speak to accuracy, but the numbers seemed about right for how I was feeling.One important drawback - the claim that it gives you a 10-second reading is not exactly true. What it does is emit 10 very loud beeps after about 10 seconds. Sure, you can see a number at that point, but if you leave it in your mouth (or, whatever) for another two minutes you'll get a higher, stable temperature. The tiny print instructions even tell you to do that.So the 10 seconds is a gimmick. They programmed it to beep prematurely, but it is meaningless. Your real temperature takes 2 minutes, just like any other thermometer of its class.

I chose this old school thermometer because it doesn't have that infrared technology. I tend to check my grandsons temp often when he is sick and I don't think it's good to keep exposing his brain to that mess.This is very accurate takes about 10 seconds and then beeps.I'd buy this one again , better than the one I got from Walmart.

I wish I wouldn't have missed the return window. It worked the first time I used it when my son was sick and now my daughter is sick and it's not working at all. It still has plenty of battery and it's off by 3 degrees

This worked fine for a few months even though it took closer to 20 seconds to read the temp. Then, one day it suddenly stopped reading temperatures correctly. Now it reads around 2-3 degrees cooler than what is correct. As a veterinary professional I need my tools to work correctly every time I use them. Very dissatisfied with this waste of my hard earned money.

This is a great device to take a person's temperature.

Best of all, the display is larger than typical and easy to read.The probe is nicely flexible and comfortable to use.The on/off button needs to be pressed REALLY hard to turn it on or off. The rubber-like cover for it seems thick and stiff.A first I thought that there was no beep. I even went so far as to remove and re-insert the battery to reset the thermometer. Turns out the beeper is very faint and needs to be close the the ear to hear it.My unit takes closer to 20 seconds to reach a reading. Furthermore, the reading has been rather low, I'm not comfortable with trusting it.
