D4R 4300K for 2008 Toyota Prius
Bought a set for a 2008 Toyota Prius. Although I would have liked for the brightness and distance to be higher I give 5 stars for the quality. Came exactly as advertised and looks like OEM bulbs. Appears bright white when first turned on and changes to a blue tint within 10 seconds. Going to have to see if they last but I wouldn’t be concerned if they don’t have the same life as OEM because these came at a fraction of the cost. Very satisfied.

Bulb is not dependable.
They shipped it quick. Finally got around putting it in, replacing the slowly dying one at the passenger side, last week (Wed Nov. 28, 2018) for 2008 TOYOTA Prius.Works just fine. And it is whiter than the OEM Phillips D4R HID bulb. The OEM one looks a bit yellowish to me, may be it's age...Why pay Phillips, the OEM supplier, upwards of $50 per bulb where you can get pretty much the same quality, a pair of bulbs, for less ?! I am keeping the second one for the future, when the Driver's side one eventually will die.Yes, I don't see why a Phillips brand D4R HID should cost $56. It's a freakin bulb. Will update in 2 years in 2020 Nov.UPDATE : Wed Dec. 12, 2018Bulb did not turn on, turned on the second try. Periodically went blank rest of the night. And had to turn off switch then turn back on again to get it turned on. Like the 10 year old OEM one that it replaced. WTH.Will contact seller for refund as this is a working car and can't have headlight that we can't depend on.UPDATE: Fri Dec. 14, 2018Same issue tonight, it dies periodically, had to turn off headlight then turn back on again to get it turned on again. Can't depend on it like this.Returning to seller. And going to order the OEM bulb, Phillips D4R tomorrow.

Product isnt reliable, failing after just a month
I bought these for my wife's 2008 Prius. I picked these over the recommended Phillip's brand for the car because of two reasons. 1. They were dramatically cheaper. 2. They have insanely good reviews. The first week, the headlights were absolutely wonderful. Definitely noticeably brighter by a mile. However, fast forward to now, ita barely been a month and they are failing terribly. The one in the passenger housing shuts off just seconds after being turned on, to which you turn the lights off and back on and it works, but flickers. The driver side one, however, comes on and stays on for maybe two minutes, then randomly shuts off. The "turn off and back on again" trick doesnt work for that one at all. This product seemed like a fantastic purchase at first, but I have now learned to not buy something just because it has good reviews and is cheaper. Figures this all happens a day after the 30 day return ends.

So far so good, not incredibly bright
I just put these in my prius, and so far they seem to be doing what they're supposed to. I feel as though they're not as bright as I'd expect them to be, though.

Another year and another pair of bulbs.... will this cycle never end?
Car: 2007 Prius D4R 4300k.I just installed these today. Kensun ran out of stock on this bulb, so I decided to get this RCP brand for the price and good reviews it currently has. I'll come back and update after a year to see how they do. My Kensun lasted 1 year and 8 months before it started having intermittent issues.

Fit 2008 Prius
1st set installed OK, but began to get flickering again after a month. But might have been ballast problem. I installed a second set of these HID headlight bulbs, same brand and model, just to be safe, as well as new ballasts. All working fine. Saved a thousand, parts and labor, compared to dealer. Would buy again.

Only lasted 4 months!
Both bulbs burnt out in 4 months! Each within a week of each other, leaving my wife stranded at work at night. Also very pink color. At least they were cheap, you get what you pay for I guess..

Great customer service
1st bulb kept going out after he 1st day. Installed 2nd bulb, been functioning properly for a week now. And no....I didn't touch the glass portion. But, rcp remedied the issue by sending me a replacement bulb!
