HVACR 101 (Enhance Your HVAC Skills!) 1st Edition

I love this book. I recommend it to anyone that plans on going into hvac/r. It covers a broad base of subjects clearly. Very easy to understand. The best part is the beginning, I still read it to get pumped up about being in/entering the hvac/r field.

Bought for grand son. He is studying it and really likes it.

Good format for someone getting started in the industry. Touches on good customer service and representing your company well. Good basic coverage of how the systems work and how to get started troubleshooting. Not a step by step guide though. Put time into answering the review. Questions to get the most benefit.

Great book for the price very informative.

Great text book for beginners.

I ordered this required text for a course my son was taking. It sounds like he nearly memorized the book.However, all potential employers in his area (southern Florida)want 3-5 years of experience, which he has notbeen able to achieve - no one apparently wants an apprentice or helper without years of hands-on.Since this text was required for his class and specified by the experienced teacher, I presume it is very good.It is simply not very helpful all on its own.

I'm starting a career in HVAC and my instructor is using this book for the class! I'm already steps ahead of the other students because the illustrations and easy-to-read format allows me to sink right in and next thing you know, I'm several pages deep into studying. I can't say how much this book is providing me with valuable insight in the HVAC trades, all the rest of the books on HVAC aren't as colorful and make the technical information hurt my head. seriously! With this book, everything is clearly described so that learning becomes fun and stress free. Its the IDEAL book for beginners and people looking for basic but CRUCIAL insight into the trade.

This book is pretty simple unless you know almost nothing about hvacr.
