Great climbing option
Have not used for hunting yet as it is off season but have set up several times and they work great.Very good quality and lightweight. Superior foot room to other sticks your whole boot goes on step making it much safer.

Don stay stacked/ clank loudly
They are light, they do not a little camo calor on them. They do not stack well + they are loud when they clank which is often because they dont stay stacked.

Close but not displacing Lone Wolf
I liked the larger steps with their position on both sides and the distance from the tree. They seemed like they would be light and looked like they would stack nicely so I ordered a set of 4.The good: The steps are well sized, offer a very secure grip on the boot, do indeed allow good clearance and it is great (once in a while) to have a step on each side. They are reasonably lightThe bad. They are noisy, noisy, noisy. They do nest but they are very wide and pretty bulky so they take up a lot of space. The step spacing is close. At 12" compared to 15" for Lone Wolf, over the course of 12 steps that is a couple of feet worth of height. I am finding that they move slightly on the tree when weight is applied (yes even after a few cycles) and make considerable noise when climbing. Maybe there is something that I am doing wrong here but that is my experience. I will probably use them if I am tight on sticks but they will be among the last to be used in any season. If I am stuck on having steps on each side, I like the Muddy sticks much better even at the additional weight.

A little overweight
This climbing system is ok and works as designed, However, if you are looking for a run and gun system, or a hang and hunt system look elsewhere. the actual weight of the "system is over 14#, the 2-hollow tubes are noisy, and they are difficult to attach to a treestand for packing in. My biggest complaints are that the system is not as light as advertised. my package weighs in at over 14#, and X-stands customer service stinks.I have contacted 2-other competitors of X-stand and got very good response from the presidents of both those companiesWhen I contacted X-stand customer service their response was that the ladder section without the strap is 2.5#. My response was that if a strap is essential for the function or safety of a product then it should be included in the weight. they responded that I should return the sticks to Gander Mountain (out of business) if I am not happy.if you are looking for a packable lightweight climbing system try LW or XOP
