There are pros and cons
This product is ok. I got it based on the good reviews, but I probably won't get it again. I'm not using it on a toddler, however, my daughter is 6. My main complaint is that it is really sticky even after you wipe it down. I have just taken to having her use it in the shower as a body wash and rinse it off after. She kept complaining that it was sticky and I agree with her. Kind of left a film on my hands after I put it on her. I do use it on her face every other day and make sure I wipe with a wet cloth. I could see how this would be great for a diaper...wipe down with this then wipe with a diaper wipe because it is wet. I wouldn't do a wipe for a face, though. There is absolutely no smell what so ever, so I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. Maybe they modified the formula because of complaints? In my opinion, a child's wash for sensitive skin should never really have a smell. When this runs out, I will probably just purchase a normal mustela face and body wash.

Immediate results for baby's eczema
Our baby had eczema on her forehead and some body patches as well as flaky scalp. We'd been slathering her in coconut oil but it wasn't keeping her skin hydrated enough. We tried Cetaphil RESTORADERM and she had a terrible reaction to that - immediate redness and bumps, crying and rubbing the area. We ended up having to use 1% hydrocortisone on her forehead for a few days to relieve the itching inflamed skin, but as soon as we'd stop (gradually) the itchy eczema came back. We were hesitant to try another "eczema" product after the Cetaphil disaster, but we needed something to help keep eczema under control without steroid cream. I'm so glad we tried this wash and the balm! After 2 baths with this wash and the balm rubbed in afterwards (and applied in the morning too) our baby's skin is soft and moisturized and she's not rubbing it any more! Her scalp flakes are gone! Her forehead looks normal and although it's early to say yet, I think this product will help keep her skin happy.

Great for Baby Eczema
My baby has always had dry patches since birth, but around 3 months old, he developed full out eczema patches on his cheeks, arms, ankles and torso. Nothing I tried ever made it go away, and at best, would just stop it from getting from bad to worse. Well, one day when he was around 4 months, it got even worse. So after a lot of research, I decided to give the Stelatopia regimen a try. I eliminated all products and did the Stelatopia Cleansing Cream, Moisturizing Cream and Moisturizing Balm. Within 24 hours, I woke up to a baby with calm, smooth skin. A lot of other thick "balms" just sat on top of his skin, whereas the Stelatopia actually moisturized his skin and healed it. If you are struggling with baby eczema, I would highly recommend the Mustela Stelatopia line.

No scent at all which is great, my daughter had a staph infection at 4 ...
No scent at all which is great,my daughter had a staph infection at 4 weeks old so I wanted to use something safe in her skin that wouldn't irritate it. It did the trick, so I kept using it to treat her eczema plus a rash from teething and it did nothing. So if your just looking for a fragrance free and safe product, it's great, but to treat the other things I switched to baby cetafil and it works amazing!

Many cleansers recommended by several dermatologists
As someone with severe eczema and extremely limiting allergies, I depend on this cleanser. After years of being continually frustrated with constantly having to research and try new soaps and cleansers, luckily I found this one. Many cleansers recommended by several dermatologists, including Cetaphil and CeraVe, have triggered a reaction. So-called "natural" cleansers are all typically coconut oil-based, which makes me break out. This is the first cleanser I have been able to use that has not resulting in some sort of reaction. Locally, it is very difficult (if not impossible) to find. The only drawback is that I can only order two bottles from this seller at once. It would be nice to be able to stock up on amazon, but it is useful when I run out to utilize the amazon prime two-day shipping.

Miracle for baby with eczema
Our daughter started breaking out with eczema at only a few months old and this has worked miracles on her skin. We were told by her Dr. to use Aveno made for eczema or any other brand made for babies with eczema, those only made her skin worse. I did a lot of research and found a lot of positive information about Mustela Stelatopia. She went from having red angry eczema on her chest, arms, scalp, and legs to almost nothing. I also buy their lotion for babies which I use right after I bathe her with the cleanser. This has been well worth the price and I highly recommend it.

Pump missing.
I love this soap but the product was just delivered with the actual pump missing!? So I'm supposed to twist off the cover every time I want to use it.... With an infant!? Not very easy!!!! Luckily I use this soap and have my old bottle still and can use that pump. I have never got anything wrong as far as Amazon goes... I guess there is a first for everything.

Love your skin again!
I have had no experience with eczema or cradle cap before the birth of my third son this winter. He was having patches everywhere. I used the cradle cap shampoo once and was amazed at the results I went out and bought the entire line of eczema designed products. They are AMAZING. REALLY. My baby has the beautiful skin I was hoping for. His scalp is a bit dry but the cradle cap is gone.If you or a loved one suffers from eczema mild or extreme, I know this brand is pricy, but give this a try. The wash is so gentle and it doesn't have that weird "fragrance free" smell.
