Teese - Vegan Creamy Cheddar Cheese Sauce, 10 Oz

Was expecting something similar to real cheese smell and taste. Had to throw it away.

As a disclaimer, I do not like Daiya or really any vegan cheeses I've tried outside of cashew cheese. I had high hopes for Teese because a friend told me it was good. I miss macaroni and cheese since becoming vegan. When I tried this the first thing that hit me was that it was way too sweet. Almost sweet enough to be a desert of some kind. The next thing that hit me was a super artificial taste. I didn't think adding salt would fix the problems and threw away my pasta :(

Great product!!! But where did they come up with $19.95 for 10 oz??? I have found it on several sites for $4 plus change!! This seems like a rip off to me!!

I bought this cheese when it first come out from an online vegan foodstore. I bought the cheddar, nacho and mozzarella. They shipped it in a red tube and it didn't require refrigeration until opened. I have never had a better nacho cheese straight from the package. This stuff is so delicious. I enjoyed the other flavors just as much. At the time, I could only get follow your heart and roads end cheeses, which are both dynamite as well. Very pleased with this cheese and have been on a waiting list for 2 years now for it to become available on Amazon. Can't find this at my local health food store either. Miss you so much Teese nacho sauce.
