I have bought this about 19 times already and it never disappoints. I have wavy thin hair so finding a product that complements these traits can be difficult. What I like about this wax is that you can apply it throughout your hair rather easily and mold your style before it begins to get too sticky. Once it settles it holds pretty good. I enjoy restyling my hair after a couple hours later because the wax works even better once it mixes with natural hair oils. No flakes or weird scents. My only complaint is that its stickiness can rip out a couple hairs when you're working it in. But thats given using any wax other than a pomade.

I do like the product. It smells weird. It reminds me of the smell of my mom's purse when I would go digging for change as a kid... Kind of a mix of old coins and makeup... I am seeing some people comment positively on the scent, which has me wondering if the one I got was a bad batch. I need more, but am hesitant to try this again... I guess I will try one more time and report back.

This wax is nearly identical in it's ingredients to the best hair product I've ever tried, Oribe Rough Luxury Molding Wax. I came across the Oribe because a male model swore by it for amazing hair. Just like Oribe Rough Luxury Molding Wax, Billy Jealousy Slush Fund Styling Mud tames the hair, gives volume, and still allows you to run fingers through your hair. Makes sense because the ingredients are almost the same as Oribe, and the proportions seem the same, too. There are two important differences: First, Oribe costs roughly 4x as much, being $40 for 1.7 oz instead of $20 for 3.0 oz. Awesome! Second, while Oribe has a mild, rather neutral smell, this has an in-your-face, "I'm a cool guy" citrusy smell that fades with time. Not a deal breaker for me, but Oribe smells a lot more luxurious. I get why Slush Fund would be a love/hate type of scent.Overall, for 1/4 the price and nearly identical, amazing performance, I recommend picking this up.

This product is as close to perfect as I've experienced. Depending on how you use it, you can apply it to dryer hair to achieve a 'fluffy' messy look, as if you have a perfect bedhead look that only occurs naturally about once a year for me. When dry and styled to be 'fluffy' my hair doesn't feel greasy, though the product can be detected if you (or someone else) runs their fingers through it.If you apply it to wet hair you achieve more 'clumped' hair that is at times more desirable for a greaser / slicked back look (though do note that once the hair dries, the clumps easily break up and become fluffy by running your fingers through your hair).I also do the crew cut / combover look with this product and it works great. I have found it to be incredibly versatile. I have used it when my hair was anywhere from about 0.5 inches to nearly 1.5 inches on the top of my head.Note: if an area of hair doesn't receive quite enough product, or if it is being held at an angle far from its natural position, the hair may fall flat during the day. Occasionally I will use this product to achieve a particular look, then add a little hairspray (no particular brand) to 'set' the mold and keep it in place on those longer days.

I have moderately curly hair. If I'm not careful, those curls fray and the afro kicks in. Then again, I don't want to walk around with crusty oil oozing from my head. That's where this product kicks in. Smells good, great hold but doesn't look like Dippity Doo. I'm a fan.

The scent was alright but I’m not buying hair perfume. This doesn’t do the job.

I really like the texture and smell of this product. Well worth the money.
