When I opened the package of the Sling Strap, mounted my camera, and let it hang, the buckle released and my camera was allowed to drop. It did not drop to the floor because I had read a previous review where the author described his/her camera hitting the floor. I suspended mine with the neck strap to test the security of the Sling Strap. After looking at how the buckles (2) were threaded I understood why it failed to support my camera, so I re-threaded the buckles and have now made several tests with the strap and I'm satisfied that my camera is secure. The materials of the Sling Strap are acceptable and the finish is well designed. The only problem I find with the strap is that the length of the strap is too short. I'm a round individual and the strap needs to be longer by about one foot. However, I've used it now several times and I'm satisfied this Sling Strap will do the job for me that it is designed to do.I would purchase it again and recommend if you purchase this item plan on re-threading the buckles to keep your camera secure.

The cross body sling makes carrying a large bodied camera much easier than the traditional neck strap. It allows the camera to fall to a spot at your waste from where it naturally comes to hand. The materials and fasteners on this model are very sturdy. My one quibble is with the 1/4" screw plate. The attachment to the camera is the standard 1/4" screw, however the plate it is affixed to (which connects to the strap) is overly large. I'd have appreciated an option to use a smaller attachment.

I purchased this strap less than a year ago and attached it to my Sigma 150-600 zoom lens. I worked fine for about 7 months, then the eye in the metal bracket started to wear to the point that it would bind the quick release clip. After 8 months, the quick release eye popped out of the holder on the strap; if I had not been holding the lens at the time, it would have dropped to the group. While this is not an expensive strap, do yourself a favor and spend a little more money for a higher quality product.

One in the win column for this strap. It is comfortable and secure, and the fact that it is adjustable makes it really great. I wish there was a tiny bit more length to it, but it does its job very well and I am happy I purchased it. I have had it on all day on 3 separate occasions so far and have no major complaints. I would definitely recommend it for ease of camera access and for carrying extra memory cards and lens cloths with you.

So far so good! I’ve taken this thing to Europe, Alaska, and all over the continental. I DIG it! Keeps the camera off your chest and prevents you looking like a stupid tourist. Also super handy for taking quick shots. Great strap!

So I got this strap to give my neck a break when shooting weddings and for long periods of time and honestly it wasn’t set up to be functional for smaller people. I’m 5’1 and so it hung past my hip even with adjustment. So my husband had to really rig it to fit me correctly!

I like this product. I can still connect it to a tripod without having to take it off. Just make sure you check the screw mount every once and a while. It came loose on me once.

I love this camera strap. I recently took it out in the field at an event that I was filming and it made my life so much easier and made the filming experience so much more enjoyable. I'm super satisfied and would recommend it to any fellow camera person that I encounter. The best part is that the design is far from cheesy and will not cramp your style at all. I actually received a bunch of compliments from friends and from people I didnt even know.
