i receved 4 one was caped with no liquid not happy and i ordered 2 cases and only got one not cool

I recently bought this and finally got my thoughts in order for this item and I can safely say save your money. Starting with the good I can safely say the glass bottles with the pop tops are novel. I don't believe I've seen them before. Also the bottles all came intact.Now on to the bad the package was not only late but the cardboard that surrounds the actual glass bottles is such a thin piece of cardboard that it actually didn't hold the glass bottles at all. As such the glass bottles were at the very bottom of my box held in there by what looks like a a crumbled up piece of brown paper of some kind (kind of surprised all the glass bottles were intact). When I first tasted it I seriously thought I had bought the wrong bottle it's somehow has very sweet ingestion taste followed by a very bad aftertaste. I don't know what they're adding to it that is giving it such a bad aftertaste but it is nowhere near balanced. Making root beer with molasses especially is not easy but this is not ready for the markets here.I even gave it to a few people who are also root beer fans and their thoughts are almost identical to my own so I know it is not just me.

I love root beer but have been trying some different brands these last few months. These particular root beer sodas are not as strong in flavor as some of the others I have drank but that's not a bad thing because these give you a much different taste be it good or bad to your palate. I can only describe this soda as having a earthy homemade flavor, you can get a hint of yeast along with licorice, ginger, sarsaparilla, and molasses. These flavors don't necessarily hit you all at once but seem to stand out at different times as you drink.The carbonation is not as strong as what you expect when compared to other root beer sodas, it doesn't really have that fizzy thick head when poured into a glass. These do bring something different to the table though and have really enjoyed them. I'm sure I will be ordering more in the near future.OverallIf you are looking for the traditional American root beer then I would probably pass on these but if you are after something a bit different with some good natural ingredients and flavors then I recommend you give these a taste.

I must've been distracted by a certain leafy green when I ordered these, cuz I don't know how I missed that each 12.7oz bottle has 43g of added sugar (86% of your total DV). I suppose cane sugar is better than artificial sweetener, but it's listed as the 2nd ingredient 😭 That's insane, even for me. If I'd been paying attention, I would've just bought regular soda. It's odd that under ingredients on the store page, it tells you to refer to the nutrition panel, but there isn't one listed - not great for transparency. I'll include a pic of one here. The packaging was minimal (bubble wrap & paper, not enough to fill the box it came in) so I was lucky that mine came in one piece. Surely Amazon can afford to mark packages as fragile in 2024. The soda itself was good - it didn't blow my mind, but it was tasty and refreshing. I liked that the little cap can pop back on if you don't want to finish a bottle in one sitting. I wasn't a huge fan of some of the additives.If you're not poor like me, are looking for a sweet treat, & want to try an Aussie craft soda, then this is for you. Personally, I don't think I could justify the price and sugar content to buy this again.

Past couple of years folks have been giving me root beer, so I decided to check this brand out myself. It's got a good taste, goes great with ice cream and keeps the fizz. It doesn't have a way to recap it, so once you crack it, best drink it. Interestingly the mouth of the bottle is the right size for one of those wine bottle caps with the rubber stopper. So to make it last, I'd drink about half, cap it and have the rest later, held the fizz good. It's priced decently. It was shipped in it's 4 bottle case wrapped in bubble wrap, it survived. The only thing I'm not sure of is if it had caffeine. If you like the bite of a good root beer, this is the one.

I recently purchased four pack of this Root Beer for my 20 year old son who loves good root beer. This root beer is not bad but if you are expecting what you grew up on in America, forget it. This has everything from root beer root to Sarsaparilla root. The instructions tell you to turn it upside down before opening, which means it has thicker than normal finish. Our friends from down under may like the slightly bitter and sometimes confusing taste profile, but I could not even drink it and I have tasted some very bad beer and bourbon. Good Root Beer for Australians taste, not my Vegemite for jam on toast.
