It works just fine.
It works as it has been described. It is comparable to my Klein Tools NCVT-1 in the tests that I have used it . I like the sensitivity adjustment. The Product information, Technical Details states that it comes with Alkaline batteries. Mine came with Heavy Duty Batteries.

Good value for your money
I purchased this tester to replace my Green Lee tester when the batteries leaked and ruined the battery compartment.I like that it has a screw-on battery compartment cap for easy battery removal if you're an occasional user like me. It works well and is dependable.Recommended. I'd buy it again.

Easy to use
Have begun changing light switches and receptacles in my house. Just wanted a handy way of making sure I shut off the right breaker. This worked great.

Works for my purpose
Great little device, I used it to check if the wire is still hot after I turned off the circuit breaker. It adds an extra layer of safety.

Great product for price.
This is an amazing tester for the price, don't have to hold as close, about 3 inches away if you turn sensitivity on. Has a flashlight and bright colors to read clearly

An expensive flash night and nice beeper
An expensive flash night and nice beeper, sometimes it works sometimes it does not. As I drag it on the wall, you will hear it beep but not sure if or how far the wire is. If you plug it in to the outlet the same, sometimes works some times does not. Also the voltage indicator is useless, as I touch the wire and it comes up to a bar out of the 10 or 5, I am not sure what it means.I won't buy it again nor recommend it.

Good product. Need to make sure you probe a couple of times with tester in different orientations.
