I’ve been doing 30% glycolic peels at home for over a month now and have had amazing results, but my skin is getting used to it. I can leave them on for 5 min with no irritation. It seemed to stop working quite as well, so I opted to try lactic for a while. I wasn’t sure how my body would react so I did a patch test on my arm and then left it on for 1 min when I did my face. I’m glad I only left it that long because I’m pretty sure 5 min would have burned my face off! Haha! If you’re going for that ACTUAL burn and peel have fun, but for me I’m all about a subtle exfoliation that doesn’t hurt. I’ll stick with 1 min and see how it goes. Photo is the day after, little to no redness or irritation :) Yay!

I'm very pleased with the quality of this lactic acid peel. It's gentle enough to safely apply at home but effective enough to see results (fresh, glowing, exfoliated skin). I'm a retired esthetician with extensive training in chemical peels. The 25% lactic acid is similar quality/strength to what I would have used professionally for a gentle peel. My own skin is sensitive and lactic acid has always been my preferred peel for myself. With a superficial peel, it's not always necessary to have irritated, red, flaky skin to achieve good results. Since I exfoliate regularly, I don't get much flaking, shedding skin after a peel. After prepping, I applied the peel with a cotton ball, left on for 5 minutes, removed and neutralized. I had a few dry, patches on my chin, but overall my skin glowed, and felt soft and moisturized, which was the result I expected and hoped for.

I was pleased with the application, how easily it smooths on and quick absorption. Moisturizer wise, not to sure about, but, it is a very gentle introduction to the acidic skin products.

If you are new to lactic peels, start at the lower %. That being said, I hadn’t done a peel for some time and this one is very active. I only left on for around a minute before I rinsed off. I definitely was flaky for around a week. I try to do about twice a month and I still feels quite active, but my skin reacts very good to it. This keeps my skin glowing and smooth. Don’t forget to use your sunscreen!

So I have been using this chemical peel for weeks on in for once a week on my elbows and knees I have yet to see any results or peeling . It’s pretty safe to say I Probly wouldn’t buy this again maybe I need a stronger percentage who knows .

I love that it does not have anything other than Lactic Acid and water. So many companies put other stuff in it that I do not want.I bought from ASDM Beverly Hills twice and the bottle was perfect both times. I read some reviews that their bottles often come broken but I think it just depends on how the package is handled in the mail. This bottle is thick glass, and also it was in a little paper box so the company made it as protected as possible. I am placing now my third order for this. I mix it with other lotions and have had awesome results from it.

I use a 14% glycolic serum every night and wanted something to give it more oomph! I mix a drop or two of this into the serum (Alpha Skincare 14% glycolic acid serum) before bed and do not wash it off until my shower in the morning. It does just what I want it to do! this should not be left on for more than a few minutes full strength, though, because you will burn your face off :)

Mild enough to tolerate without flaking, allergy, skin irritations or redness.Strong enough to help exfoliate and renew my skin. Loves how it smoothens out the ridges and discolorations on my face.Will recommend!

GREAT ...REGULAR USE WILL TAKE 10 YEARS OFF UR FACE AND SKIN!!!!

I have used it twice so far, both times my whole face had no change, but my upper lip area cracked and bled. I followed the directions perfectly too.
