I should never have purchased these little chocolate covered jell ringsThey take me back to my childhood when I could barely afford a nickel for a small pack of 5 that I had to share. Now that I'm a year older I buy a 5.lb box and don't have to share them any longer, however, iny home they.have a way disappearing just as fast as they did years ago. Unchanged, they still have the same great taste and texture.The only thing that has changed is the price. I guess the employees at Joyva deserve to make a living. Thanks guys!

This is a massive box of delicious jelly rings. It has made for an awesome snack every night for weeks. It is a little less fresh than what you would get in the store, but it is to be expected, and doesn't make these less fantastic. I still have to restrict myself to a certain number of rings a night. I will be very disappointed if these go out of stock.

••UPDATE ••I haven’t bought these in a while due to the enormous price increase (double price in less than 2 years) and when I finally did break down and buy them I was so disappointed. Apparently, quality has decreased while the price exploded because now I have a 5 pound box of hard as rocks jelly rings that are basically inedible. Out of control Capitalism is destroying absolutely everything in this country. I will not be buying these again and it’s insulting that you would raise the price so much and then turn around and sell substandard products. Mark my words, greed will destroy you in the end in the form of no return customers. For some reason I decided to look them up here and saw they have a 5 pound box for a great price! I was hesitant because of some of the reviews stating the candy is stale or damaged but, I took the chance anyway. I am so glad I did!!! They are fresh and completely undamaged!! I grew up in Brooklyn so Joyva is a necessary thing for all special occasions & holidays. ( if you grew up there in the 70s/80s you know ) Are they the most fantastic chocolate you will ever have in your life? No, they aren't. Do they remind me of being a 10 year old picking up cans so I could get my 3 for 25 cents chocolate fix? Absolutely.So I'm not here to convince the haters that this is the thing you just HAVE to try. Actually - don't try it... Leave more for the rest of us.This review has more to do with BAYSIDE CANDY.I wanted to start by saying thank you BAYSIDE - you folks are geniuses. I found this parcel on the front porch in full sun. It had been sitting there for 6 HOURS.I was prepared.Just knew this was going to be a melted disaster.I took the very hot parcel inside, opened the package and was met with a white bag - filled with ice packs! Were they still cold. . . no but were they on top of the package under the label - yes they were. I was suddenly very excited. OMG could it be ok? ??? I whipped out my favorite kitchen knife and opened the box. The top layer is in tact. No melting. My eyes nearly fell out of my head. Maybe I'm wrong ... Maybe the box was upside down ... So I quickly close it and flip the whole box over. . ... The underside is perfect!!!!!I have been ordering these online for YEARS, I've gotten more than a few that arrived looking like chocolate soup. This box sat outside for 6 hours in direct sun and they look like I drove to joyva and got chocolate straight off the line.So my suggestion fellow jelly ringers... Delicious, but expensive

These are the REAL Jelly rings that are for the Jewish holidays! There are others out there with ""JOYA"" on the box, but they aren't the REAL ones (just bought a strange """"JOYA"""" box of rings and they tasted AWFUL!) The REAL ONES the jelly is smooth raspberry and the chocolate is just divine! (The other one I tried the jelly came as hard as a rock and the choc was bitter -- maybe made with DARK choco?). Get these and enjoy.

They were hard and taste "OFF". Like they were OLD. They weren't packed well. From moving around the inner box was broken open and many of the rings were losing the chocolate coating...
