DonJoy Performance Bionic II Elbow Support Brace - New Upgraded Model - (Medium)

I couldn't lift my right arm or hold it in certain positions so I researched for the best elbow brace for my price range with not a lot of extras or too flimsy. Excellent product... I purchased a medium the first time it was a bit snug but it did the trick... I'm a Chef so I do a lot of chopping, cutting etc. I couldn't even lift anything the brace added so much stability and flexibility which I had lost I misplaced the medium so i purchased the large cause it was one-day prime I needed it urgently, once it arrived I tried it out although a bit looser it worked out better than the medium the removable side hinges are quality steel and they provide more than enough stability and you feel a little added strength when moving or lifting, the velcro wraparound forearm strap keeps your arm comfortable when u need it most the biceps strap can be adjusted for your comfort level as to not cut off your circulation. The entire brace is made from pretty good and durable material as the longer you wear it it will conform to you, it also handles heat well considering what I do i've washed it several times and its still holds up like the day I got it... and I wear it sometimes 8-12 hours and it stays comfortable. 2 downsides #1 if u sweat it will stink if u wear it for long periods. #2 u have to adjust all the straps if u dont it slides down. other than that if this one gets ratty or I lose it i'll get another one.

I purchased this elbow brace three years ago following a severe elbow dislocation and ligament tears from practicing Jiu-Jitsu. I used it consistently for a year until I received medical clearance. For Jiu-Jitsu training, I wear a cloth cotton sleeve underneath the brace to enhance its grip. I also modified an old rash guard sleeve to cover the brace, which helps keep the straps secure. Despite occasional slippage, the brace remains effective and durable. I wash the brace in a laundry bag after every use and have even soaked it with no issues. Over time, the straps and Velcro have degraded somewhat, but the sleeve I added provides additional support and extends its usability. If you've suffered a significant elbow injury and are looking to resume light training, I highly recommend this brace. Remember to follow your doctor’s advice.

Great brace and it does its job, my elbow doesn’t hurt when doing activities. However it gets loose pretty often. I do judo and bjj and I have to adjust it pretty often because it slides down. I know those are contact sports but it also gets loose when working out in the gym. I wish there was a forearm strap like how there is for the bicep.

Helped my son recover from a partial UCL tear. This was his “return to practice” brace as it is soft enough to play football with without risking injury to himself or other players unlike the metal jointed brace he wore for 4 weeks after his injury. His elbow felt supported and protected without being bulky and restricting. Highly recommend for ongoing protection after injury.

This is the first brace I’ve tried that helps alleviate my tennis & golfer’s elbow pain. It effectively keeps my elbow from hyperextending. Unfortunately, it’s als quite uncomfortable, gets itchy, and caused skin irritation after 2 days of wearing it. I will try wearing a thin sleeve under it, but because it’s very tight, that could be problematic.

Comfort is amazing,support is great, would recommend for anyone who has had Tommy johns,distal bicep tendon repair or tennis elbow. Thoroughly pleased I wear it to gym during rehab and as a automotive technician. Love it

This was the only thing that helped my acute tennis elbow. After PT, creams, bands, massages,etc., a friend lent me her brace. I wore it at home as well as on the court for a week and immediately noticed a difference. I now wear mine only on the court and feel that I will soon be pain free. I highly recommend this if you are experiencing acute pain but are a die hard athlete that doesn’t want to be sidelined.😂

Bought wrong size. I'd probably go with a large. When I crammed into this small. It felt like what id wanted, nice fluid motion, the shims able to pinch onto the sore muscle and the forearm straps that keep the elbow from over extending again.

Very loose around the wrist has much less elbow padding than older model. How ever the straps are much better quality and very good ventilation.

Not too bad but not as strong and useful as original, which I had for several years until it was mislaid. I'm 78 and need this brace for a wonky right elbow joint. The old model was better made, stronger, and gave me 100% protection when lifting anything. Not so sure about this one. And why the new one is called the Bionic II is beyond me -- maybe marketing -- but the older model was simply superior. That said, the new one will do until I find (I hope) the old model. Gerry
