Slim Flameless Pillar Candles Set - Warm White LED Lights, Smooth Wax Finish, Assorted Sizes, Remote and Batteries Included - Set of 8

I purchased these literally 2 days ago and received them promptly 2 days later via Amazon Prime shipping. They are pretty cool, because the exterior 3 mm of each candle is literally made of wax. I needed to trim off the top of 1" of a couple of the candles in the set to fit inside a metal display unit (see photos attached). First I tried a small jigsaw and that was overkill. The top 1" did trip off but all I needed was a sharp knife. I simulated the uneven edges by trimming off the wax to different heights. Inside the wax exterior of each candle is a plastic sleeve containing the wiring and the 2 AA battery supply, so you cannot shorten them from the bottom, however you can trim off some of the bottom to make the candle fit inside a 2" diameter candle holder (see photo of bottom trimmed). The final result is so pleasing. I would highly recommend these and yes, they come with enough batteries to operate all 8 of them, but I cannot comment on the quality of the batteries or how long they will last. The instruction sheet was clearly written in English and easy to understand. The candles either shine solid or flicker, have a bright & dim setting and all of them can be controlled simulatenously through the remote. The remote comes with its own battery. Overall I would highly recommend these. The color is accurately shown in the Amazon photo.

First off, let me start by telling you how MANY of these I have purchased over the years, only to be disappointed later. This is the eighth set of LED candles I have purchased. The last six were remote based. The problems range from looking fake, as in plastic simulations that don't really look like candles, but flashlights with the glass hood broken off, to impossible battery configurations that require a specialty store to replace. THIS is different. These candles LOOK like the real thing and FEEL like the real thing. The remote works like a magic lighter, point and click and it lights up. In CANDLE mode, it really gives the flicker, and most importantly, the soft yellow light that a candle creates, not the shocking white of a standard LED. In my case, the need was for candles that rest in a bed of small pebbles on a tray (see picture). Picking them up and turning them on and off was not difficult. Getting them seated back in the stones was impossible, so I simply stopped using them. Now, I walk into the room, push a button on a tiny remote, and my spa room looks like a romantic getaway for myself and the wife. Instead of gushing on how well they work, I will leave you with the most telling comment of all...I liked them so much, I ordered another set. 'Nuff said.

We ordered several sets for an event.We placed them in lanterns outside.Within 2 hours all of the large candles literally melted!! Who knew led candles could slump over?!!Only the large and a few medium size melted, must be a manufacturing defect.

Overall I love the look and functionality of these candles. However, as another reviewer noted, they do have a pretty orange glow. On their own I might not have noticed, but compared to some other flameless candles in the same room it's pretty obvious.

These! So super cool standing in a faux fireplace! Easy to assemble (batteries) and the remote is just amazing. Sounds weird but anything with a remote makes me happy. Recommended.

These are wonderful...timer is wonderful...size is too!!! Great product! Just don't let your husband put them near a warm spot...they melt!!!😜Had to buy a second box, but was able to salvage three.Well worth the money...they Come with batterys and remote!!!! What could be better....the complete package!?!?

Although I bought these candles in October to use for Halloween, they were used for 2 weeks for 4hrs per day. And I only used 4 candles at that time.I just took them out again for Christmas decorating and found 2 candles stay on and flicker quickly. What can I do about this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is the second time I ordered this set.It is the only set I found that include 2” diameter which is what I need for my candle holders.These do not flicker but look just fine in the holders I have. Good price. The flickering ones are nice but are crazy expensive.
