*** Stopped 3 times in the first 24 hours. It took a decent shake to get it to start again. I returned it. ***. So, I am considering the purchase of a real Panerai. Where I live it is not possible to check them out locally and I wanted to get an idea how one would wear on my size wrist. This is the same size and same strap size as a real one, and at $35 I figured it was a very small gamble. If it works at all I will keep it and likely give it away at some point, and if it is DOA, back it goes. Normally I do not review something immediately after getting it and I WILL come back and edit this review if something changes significantly in the days to come. But so far I have to say I am very surprised. It is attractive and seems to be well built case wise with the exception of the crown guard which DOES lock down but takes very little effort to unlock. The crown could be larger making it easier to wind, but it functions. The rotor is moving freely unlike some other reviews here. The glass both front and rear are clear and clean. The chrome plating is even and uniformly polished and very bright. It IS a $35 dollar watch, but from a distance you would not guess that.I put it on my timegrapher and let it run for about 90 minutes after winding fully. Amplitude was just over 300 (very strong) and it consistently ran with zero beat error. It is staying at a steady +29-31 seconds a day which is not great but I have purchased watches in the $150-200 area that were no better. HEY... it was $35.Now, if the rotor keeps it wound, and it does not quit or catch on fire in the coming days I will be very impressed for the bucks. In any case it is giving me a taste of what a 44mm pillow shaped case with a HUGE crown guard on a 24mm strap is going to wear like, so it will serve the primary purpose I had for it even if it quits.On the negative side... the movement is UGLY, and the strap is CRAP! But HEY... it is a $35 watch!I would assume that the QC (if there is any at all) lets quite a few things out that should not have ever shipped, but based on this one.. some of them at least start out pretty good... for $35.If this review had not been edited (see ***) then nothing has changed. If it goes south I will update.

First thing I did was swap out the band. I really like the look and size of the watch. I don't have one shaped like this in my collection so it is a really nice add.

Just got it and wore for one day. Got lots of compliments! Looks pretty much like a Panerai, though the band is flimsy and I'll probably upgrade it. The crown lock lever really works, but may be a weak point in the future. Nice and big. I have big hands and like big watches, and this one looks good. Dial is 45mm, and 52mm from outside the case to the top of the crown lock. For the price I think it's a good copy watch. We'll see how long it keeps ticking!UPDATE - 4 months after buying, the crystal just fell off. Can't press it back in place, so the watch is toast. I have loved how this watch looks and keeps time, but the construction is... well, you get what you pay for,

This watch is better than you would expect. It works well (if you follow the instructions for winding correctly) and seems to be very well built. No one is expecting a $10000 Panerai for this price, but if you like the style of that heirloom watch and want something nice and reliable, this is a solid buy.

I love this one, with many mechanicals making up my collection; this one stands out the most, and the illumination is perfect. It's large, but not too heavy.

Movement little sticky at first, bought new. No problems after first day and even months after. Love the fact that it can be hand wound. Time has been pretty accurate. Been a month and haven't even touched the time. Daily worn. It's probably a $70 watch that I got for $32.

Looks nice. Seems solid. But stopped working after a day or two.
