The Beauty of Horror: Ghosts of Christmas Coloring Book Paperback – October 30, 2018

I loved the art work . but when I received the book the paper had a slight brown ending on each picture. I think the book was an older print and the paper starting to discolor. But I colored in it anyway. Please look before delivered to see if this problem exits in other copies!!!!

My pre-ordered copy just arrived, yay! This is a really cool ghouly Christmas themed coloring book, just as awesome as Alan Robert's others.It's published by the same company as his previous books too, so the paper quality is just as nice. This one doesn't have a dust cover & is travel/handbag sized, 7" by 7 1/4" (the same size as the Good Wives & Warriors "Escape to Shakespeare's' World"). There's about 28 coloring pages & they're single sided (so marker & liquid medium friendly, but to be safe, I'd still suggest using a blotter paper behind the page being colored) & perforated.The images are just as intricate too, but printed in a smaller format. They look like they were originally designed for larger pages, so some of the details are very small. This would be my only issue. Other than that, the book is wonderful.It's a fun addition to my ever growing coloring book collection & would make a nice gift to others with a dark sense of humor ; ) I'm looking forward to the Ghouliana's next adventure!

Just opened my box of our new coloring books! My daughter and I love coloring even at 19, and 38,. So I ordered 3, they were on a great amazon promotion, buy 3 get 1 free!!. So this is my first book by Alan Robert, Beauty Horror :Ghost of Christmas. Not my first horror book though. Loving the shiny foil on the cover, just makes this book so vibrant. You get to put your name on the naughty list, instead of saying book belongs to. Also you get a find the lost presents throughout the book, how cool is that! Now I was not aware of the size difference when I ordered, it’s 7x7, nice little square. I think the size adds to the overall uniqueness of this coloring book. Great thick pages, lovely print, and wonderful drawings. Every page has something to color, not too much empty space on most pages. Some have borders, detail is amazing. Gonna really enjoy this one! Big horror fan, and Christmas, both together is just perfect!

If you love the Beauty of Horror coloring books this is a must have. This is like the Halloween book that came out it is smaller in size and there are only one picture per page.

Compared to AR's original Beauty in Horror series of adult coloring books, I admit that this book is quite a bit smaller and does have perforated pages. This doesn't take away from the genius of a creepy Christmas themed Horror coloring book.It's larger than my hand with fingers spread wide, and I wear a size large glove when dealing with food service. The perforated pages means that I'm less likely to find the pages coming apart at the glued binding, which I like. The other Beauty and Horror book I have split at the binding and the pages fall out.The art is as expected of AR but with a fun Christmas theme. Not for the weak hearted and I don't think I'd recommend this for children under 13. The pictures are printed on one side, allowing for the use of alcohol markers that won't take away from another image.The only downfall is that I expected 64 pages to color but they meant 64 pages front and back. This means there are approximately 30 pages to color.

I LOVE this artist and their books 🧡 this one was fun....I like that they are all one sided pages in this book. It was done for tearing out and displaying/sharing but I like it for the fact you don't have to worry about marker bleed through. These designs are smaller, thus perfect due to the seasonal theme.... there is only so much time of the year one feels Christmas-y lol. It's better having the small ones that are totally finisheable in much less time vs a design your going to commit more time to. Was awesome to help put me in a Christmas spirit lol, and my clients loved seeing them. I work in direct care, and there is a LOT of downtime so I color or we color together 😁 anyway these are fabulous and I intend to collect the whole lot in time. I hope there will be more seasonals! St Patrick's, Easter, w/e!

I’ve been excitedly waiting for the newest edition to arrive and was sadly disappointed to find it is about 3/4’s the size of the previous three books. The art and details are as beautiful as ever but it is going to be very difficult to color the details neatly with the pages being so small. It does state the size of the book but most people won’t notice it and will be expecting the same size as the previous three books. Another change is the images are only on one side of the page, which is convenient for alcohol ink marker users due to bleed through, but will be disappointing to other media users. I still like it and will use it, but I dont think t holds up to the standards set by the previous three Beauty of Horror books.

The media could not be loaded. I've been wanting this book for a while and found a reseller. There was a sticker on the front which was easy to remove and a marker in red on the side which can't be seen otherwise in good condition. Images are on one side of the page which is great as most of the other beauty of horror books have drawings of both sides of the page. Great for a horror fan with a twisted Christmas theme. Book is smaller than most coloring books almost like a travel size book. But also make a nice gift.

J’ai découvert cet artiste il y a peu en achetant le beauty of horror 3 que j’ai adoré, quand j’ai vu qu’il y en avait un dans l’esprit de Noël j’ai sauté dessus. Il fait la taille d’un carré à peu près, les pages sont détachables, pas de recto-verso et pas double page ce qui permet de pouvoir utiliser du matériel différent, les offrir/encadrer.... le papier est de bonne qualité et de teinte crème

Alan Roberts has made an impact to the adult colouring genre and brought happy horror. Now the festive season is coming the snow is red.Life Of Adult colouring F.T.W
