Nice and convenient to replace the broken knob on our dryer. Would've been nicer if it cost a bit less

This timer knob was not the same size as my original even though it was the same part#.

First off I ordered this part as well as a new OEM power switch and a new OEM timer knob. However this part is worthless. It's too loose and comes right off with your hand after turning the dryer on. The new timer switch know fits snugly on the new power switch because GE designed them both to use the same size spline. This part will successfully rotate the power switch spline, turning on the dryer but you can feel how it would quickly start to strip out the power switch spline. If I kept this part, aside from the frustration of the know coming off each time, I would probably have to replace both the power and knob again in a couple of months due to the damage this crappy part would do to it. Also, the chrome in two areas is completely missing so it fails aesthetically as well. If the part fit correctly I wouldn't mind the chrome issue because I get what I paid for. You don't get what you paid for with this junk you just get ripped off.

I ordered a replacement knob for my GE Dryer and expected to receive the same quality as the original. However, what I received was " just ok"...it's definitely a more lightweight/less sturdy version of the original. Time will tell to see if it hold up.

I bought this knob to replace one for my GE washing machine. The description states it's a replacement for my original part number, and it looks just like it. But, the fitting was very loose. I was trying to save some money but not worth it, for me. I found and bought an original manufacturer replacement part and the fit was like night and day - very snug.This product might fit other appliances, just didn't fit mine. I returned it for refund.Delivery was quick, price was great. Too bad it didn't work.
