This is a great book for anyone thinking about building a PC at any budget. There are plenty of pictures to guide you through most installations of both hardware and OS(Operating System). It is very easy to read book and explains everything (do not have to be a computer geek). I book is a great buy for anyone wanting to build a computer.

I bought this book when I was searching for a suitable text for high school students in my course on "How To Build Your Own Computer". This book proved to be ideal for my purposes. Anyone even considering building their own PC could gain a great deal of helpful information from this book and it is a handy reference for those with more experience.

I did buy a couple of books en route to building my own computer but I failed to do my homework as far as knowing this was written in the UK. But I thought the pictures were excellent and gave me a feel for what I must do. The only thing was that the websites were foreign except E-Bay.

Very easy to follow and pictures were great for demonstration. I would highly recommend this for anyone trying to build a computer,

This book is one of the most informative, and gives and in-depth view of how to build a PC...start to finish. The photos are clear and defintive, providing, even a beginner, the knowledge to construct a PC, tailored to suit his or her needs.

Nice photography which is good for visual learners, but omits much needed technical info and drive formatting information is non existent.

Great book giving directions, showing differences in computer parts, etc. giving info on about everything you need to build your own computer and recommendations to meet your personal needs.

Read the book, but haven't built a computer yet. The book has awesome pictures, and is very detailed. The only weird thing is that it's in UK. The parts seem to be for both UK and US. I'm ready to start building.
