Another great one
I just love Janette Oke and her stories. Missie and her journey from young bride to finding her place as a mother and wife is so relatable and heart warming.

Enjoyed the Journey
I enjoyed the journey with Missy and Willie and reading of their joys, fears, heartaches, and how their faith in God and His promise to them kept them grounded in their new marriage. It inspirational to see how people endured such demanding times and how some people were drawn to the frontier in hopes of realizing their dreams. We take a lot for granted in our modern times, I'm thinking 😌

Pioneer Journey
Willie and Missie LaHaye leave their family and travel west by covered wagon to build a ranch and a home in the west. The young couple and their fellow pioneers experience hardship and struggles. When they reach their land, Missie learns the difficulties of carving out a life and making a home in a strange and lonely land.Through all the hardship, Willie and Missie cling to the promise found in their special Bible verse, Isaiah 41: 10.The characters are well-defined, and the plot is engrossing.I highly recommend this book to all who like fiction with a Christian theme. If you've never read Janette Oke's books, then you are missing a treat.

Wonderful, heartfelt Story!
After many, many years, I'm currently reading these books for a second time. I missed Marty and Clark so much in this book, and that only added to the drama. REading the first two books, I fell in love with Missy's Mama and Pa and felt I was growing with their marriage. So as Missy traveled West further and further away from her parents, I ached with her. And when Willie announced she would be staying in town until the baby was born, I cried with her. I ached along with her as she awaited her baby. Then when the time came for her to see her arm, I ached again at what she had seen. Jeanette writes with such expression and such feeling...I can feel what the characters are feeling. I'm now into the fourth book and am now excitedly awaiting the reunion between mother and daughter!

Great book!
This book series has been such a blessing. During these chaotic times, its a great reminder of the blessings we have in the 21st century and we need to be more appreciative.

Wonderful
Often considered a “book for women,” I enjoy the simple story for the light reading and the lessons of faith which are real for my life today.

Holy cowww
This is an amazing book. I love it so much! I love how she doesn’t make it a mystery about missie and willie but does a whole book on it. Great book!

At home
Missie has to get used to living in a 'soddy' - a one-roomed building that seems as if it must be made of mud. She raises her son there for the first two years before her husband starts work on their proper home, to be built of stone. Those who are following the books through are going to love this one.

love comes softly book 1
Had great hopes for this book as I had seen the Hallmark film. Found the language very difficult. It is 'folksy' and maybe very familiar in America but I thought it contrived and detrimental to my enjoyment of this book.Film has a better story but it was quite enjoyable.

Loves long journey book 3.
Another great little continuation saga. It seemed to finish so abruptly. Can't wait to get boom four each book better than the previous one. Thank you
