I had a Casio G-Shock type protector on my Apple Watch 2... With the 4, I was thinking that I wanted something more subtle, less obvious that would protect the gorgeous screen of the Apple Watch 4... So, I tried this... It's not as clear, as I'd hoped, you can certain tell it's on... But the deal breaker was that it traps water between it and the screen on top... And that's simply too annoying to put up with.As far as how it would have protected the screen, I don't know... Its pretty flimsy piece of rubbery plastic, so maybe it would have protected it from some scratches...

This item fits well and no loss of screen sensitivity. I do see some little specks on the plastic (nothing too noticeable). The case is made out of rubber and will scratch. But does protect the entire watch and not as bulky as others. I definitely recommend.

I have been looking for a case like this after I made a scratch on my apple watch. This served as Botha screen protector a case for the aluminum side. When I put it on I don't need the take off my band. I just slide it from one side and it is on my watch. Even though it is soft rubber, The part that covers the screen didn't interfere using the apple watch. The screen is still touch sensitive. And I really like it beacuse it is transparent. It didn't cover the color of my watch. And it already has some scratches on it that was supposed to be on my watch. So it is very protective of it.

This is an amazing protective cover. In the past I've had brand name covers costing up to $30.00 and this beats them all. Perfect fit..easy to put in place..complete clear and the watch is just as responsive to touch as it was without a cover. Highly recommend this cover.

I recently purchased an Apple Watch Series 4 to replace my Series 2 and was concerned about damaging the display. I first purchased a wet screen protector, but decided it was not enough protection, so purchased the case. It does a great job of protecting not only the screen but the metal of the watch.Installation was fast and easy, and the use is not hindered with the case, except perhaps requiring a little more pressure when swiping.

While I think this is a useful product, I hated it. It was a good thickness which I believe would protect the watch from scratches etc.. It did, most of the time, detect my finger swiping & typing, but sometimes it took more than once. After a couple days, it just seemed filthy and cloudy which made it look awful to me. I suppose you can take it off and wash it every so often, but it’s actually annoying to put on and remove. Easy enough but annoying none the less. I ripped it off and threw it out. I had my prior Apple Watch For 2 years and never needed a cover. So I’ll take my chances again with my new series 4. It makes me much happier to have a smooth to the touch and crystal clear watch face so I can see my revolving favorite photos as my wallpaper.

I purchased this in hopes of killing two birds with one stone; protecting the body of my watch and screen at the same time. My first impression of the product was positive. It was exactly what I was looking for. Upon placement and turning on my screen I noticed little square boxes that made my screen look pixelated. I thought maybe I forgot to scratch off a protective layer but I guess that’s the way it’s made. I attached a photo to get an idea of what I mean. After wearing it for less than a day I noticed with simple use there was dust a debris being trapped in between my screen and the protector. I already had to remove it to clean the screen. I also noticed it scuffs quite easily. I must’ve hit some white paint and it rubbed off onto the face of the protector because I had white streaks on it that had to be removed with a lot of pressure. Save yourself the hassle and money and opt for a glass screen protector and separate bumper.
