Easy installation
Have installed this on 3 gensets and it works perfectly

Perfect fit; started first pull :)
Carb and stop solenoid wiring fit perfectly. The plastic piece between carb and intake is incorrect; no hole for vacuum for auto choke vacuum pull off. I suggest not replacing Honda's but just leave in place if old gasket is OK. Hose turned out to be needed since my old one broke off at the old carb. I used old and new hose with gas filter in between. Be careful when installing choke mechanism; if you get choke positioner on carb in wrong orientation the choke will not work. Otherwise straight forward. Always drain gas from carb at end of season, especially if used on generator and ALWAYS use non-ethanol fuel.

Carburetor Works Great
Carburetor worked great but none of the gaskets fit correctly. Fortunately, the old gaskets were good to be used.

Good Replacement Carb & More
I was looking for a carburetor rebuild kit for a Honda EW-171 welder/generator when this item came up in the search. For just a few dollars more than a rebuild you get a new carb, spark plug, filters, gaskets and more. Installed the carb, replacing the front and back gaskets, and swapped the plug. The welder/gen fired right up and has run for over 8 hours with no problems. Taking it on a camping trip next week where it will be used for several hours. Happy with this purchase.

Wrong carburetor
Won't work for my EM3500S Honda generator. The carb on the right is the original. The left is the replacement for Amazon. It's too big. It's for a larger Honda engine.

Pas compatible comme indiquer.
N'est pas compatible directement avec une génératrice honda EB3500X. Le carburateur n'est pas physiquement identique. Le joint honda est trop petit pour le carburateur, et le joint qui vient avec le carburateur est trop gros pour le collecteur du moteur. J'ai du modifier le collecteur du moteur et fabriquer un joint sur mesure pour unir le carburateur sur le collecteur d'admission du moteur. Après avoir adapter ca fonctionne bien, mais pour une personne qui ne veut pas modifier, ou qui n'a pas ce qui faut pour modifier et fabriquer soi-même un joint ca ne fonctionneras pas. Ma génératrice est muni d'un choke automatique, le kit acheter ici est annoncer pour choke automatique également. Malgré cela l'intake fourni dans le kit n'est pas l'intake qui va avec la configuration du choke automatique... Bref, en gros ca "fitte" mais faut modifier.
