I bought this Monopod for my Ricoh 360 Camera. It worked really great with it. Apart from that I have bungee jumped holding this in hand. Scuba dived with this in lakshadweep. Hold it out of a car moving at around 100km/hr with a camera on top of it. It never disappointed me nor it needed any maintenance. It did wonders when I strained my Knee on a recent trek and have to use this as a trekking stick. It supported my whole body for atleast 3 kms of downhill trek with water flowing below my feet in heavy rainpour. After which I am writing this review. Its been 5 months of me using this wonder. Not a single con I found. Just go for it. One time great investment.

Best monopod

Great Product, I use this monopod as a selfie stick and it's works great with my GoPro action cam. One Question ?! Is it waterproof can we go in water with this monopod?

Product was preopened and used one. I didnt expect from you. I didnt return this as i had to travel next week. No complaints on the product though. It is sturdy and tough. takes 1 kg weight very easily. Best for my 360 camera and cellphone too. Good for startups.

Good and strong. Do not use DSLR on selfie side.

I am using this monopod to assist with taking photos of birds in the wild and it has earned its keep already after 2 weeks. I have a small camera and it is perfect. It's lightweight but sturdy and suitable for carrying in the hand while bushwalking. The ball head allows for swivel so that I can still have stability whether looking up into the tree canopy or down at the ground. Now to just find those birds!

i bought this for my action-cam doing winter-sports (snowboarding). It's incredibly easy to use, and very sturdy, unlike most telescopic selfie sticks. Since it doubles as a mono-pod for any other camera, i'm sure it'll come in handy for taking more serious still shots with the DSLR. A lot of people are talking about hot the ball joint is a bit crap, but for the sony action cam (i think its heavier than a go-pro), i found it more than sufficiently sturdy. It is a little bit weighty compared to other selfie sticks but in the weight vs robustness trade-off, i'm more inclined to settle for something robust, rather than have to buy something new every time a lighter one breaks.
