Great Bluetooth accessory for my favorite headphones!
I love this Bluetooth adapter because it's freed my favorite headphones from the hassle of a cord. I live in NYC and ride the subway everyday. This gadget has made all the difference in my motivation to pull out the headphones at all. The sound is great. The battery is pretty darn impressive. And pairing is a breeze with my iPhone 7. Also, the design integrates really beautifully with the phones. I've only tried the microphone once for a call, and it was a bust because I was outdoors in windy weather. It may be unfair to make a judgment without more data there. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that I sometimes struggle to find a listening level that's just right. The onboard volume adjustments are stepped rather than continuous, so I often want to land somewhere between a step up and a step down. Not a big deal though. If you're into the ATH-M50X phones, I recommend you consider this BTunes Bluetooth adapter.

Solid Bluetooth adapter for great headphones
I was skeptical that this would work, let alone sound decent. I was wrong. The unit seamlessly connects to the M50, easily holds more than a day’s charge (at least for my usage) and it sounds great. M50’s can be a little creaky when the cable pulls - with no cable that noise is diminished greatly. I won’t tell you that the sound quality is perfect because it’s Bluetooth. But it’s taken a pair of headphones that sat on the shelf through most of the pandemic and turned them into a tool I use daily for Zoom/Teams calls. No lag, good microphone pickup and the unit is on the ATH-M50, a super comfortable set of over the ear headphones to begin with. If you’ve got M50’s you’re just a small purchase away from a great Bluetooth headset.

Works well, good sound, some flaws
I've been using this for over a month now so that I could give an informed review.Pros:Good range, excellent battery life (I've gone about four days of intensive use without charging), good design. I like the hard tactile buttons and the form factor, definitely better than the other options available.Cons:There is a small but noticeable loss in sound quality as compared to using the audio technica cable, but this is unavoidable in any bluetooth setup. Still sounds excellent so I wouldn't worry about it.There is this one incredibly annoying bug in the software where sometimes if you press the main on/off button while listening to a song it will go into pairing mode but will not come out of pairing mode. I've tried holding the power button to switch it off, and the adapter is not visible to my phone in order to pair. This bug has only started happening recently (maybe from December 2 2018). I have found that the only way to end this faulty pairing mode bug is to plug it in to charge (?), upon which the pairing will stop and it will charge as normal.@Voxoa, I dont know if you can do software updates over the USB cable in this thing but please figure something out for future iterations.

Best purchase ever! 11/10 stars
As someone who’s on the spectrum and has ADHD and has a cat who enjoys chewing electrical cords, this is a lifesaver! I debated on buying a whole new pair of Audio Technica headphones, but with the Bluetooth device already built in. Looking back, that definitely wouldn’t be a very wise decision as I already have a pair, but it’s just wired! It’s super easy to use, works very well, and has a sleek design! I just plug it in, press and hold the power button for a few seconds, connect Bluetooth to my device, and I’m ready to go! And charging time for the adapter doesn’t even take long! Just about as long as it takes one to charge their Fitbit, their DSLR camera battery, or their new phone, if not shorter!11/10 stars, will be recommending to family and friends who use these exact type of headphones!

Wirelessitize yo ATH
Pros: looks great on the headphones, sound is terrific for Bluetooth (probably can't tell the difference, honestly), range is as good as any Bluetooth device I've used, and I can move about my (admittedly small) apartment without any drop. Bluetooth picks up the battery level on your phone, which is great. Battery life itself is solid, you can get a good few days of heavy listening (8-10 hours?) before charging, which it does quickly (30 min - hr, it's usually done before I notice and go to grab it)Cons: a tad expensive (but saves you from buying a new 250$ set of cans, so...), the bluetooth needs a hand connecting occasionally, and the connection voice is a little unpolished

Bad build, bad battery life, ok sound
Pros:-Convenient-Not too expensive-Easy to connect to bluetooth, you just keep holding the power button for a few seconds after it turns on and it will start to pair-Very light, you won't feel much of a difference at all when you attach it-Very easy to connect to your headphones, you just line them up and they go right in. Only gentle force needed.-Relatively quick charge time from wall adapter. Takes about 40-60 minutes or so from empty to full.-Sits in place, doesn't fall out when used normally.Neutrals:-Sound: It sounds somewhere between okay to good, but you might have to adjust the left-right channels to get the sound to not be overly focused on one side or the other. I had to spend an hour on getting it right. I do not have a good comparison to the wired version as my 3.5mm jack is broken on my PC and I have no working cable for the M50x. You will most likely need an equalizer to get the full experience.Negatives:-Bad build quality: The USB charging port has started to get pushed into the device and I have handled it normally. It's slightly loose now and you can push it around a few millimeters to the right with the usb charging cable. This was after slightly over a week of usage.-Bad battery life: The base experience (no equalizer, medium volume) gives me around 4-6 hours of battery life at most. Usually closer to 4. The advertised time is 10 hours of audio.Final:I think you should invest $20 more in the official Bluetooth version of the ATH-M50x. (Normal headphones + this item = 180 dollars or so. The official Bluetooth version is $200.) If you already have the normal wired version of the M50x's, please consider your options before buying this.
