Great quality, very reasonable price for high compression mixed with comfort.
Very good quality for a reasonable price. I have a medical condition that requires me to wear at least 20-30mm compression socks pretty much every day. I’m in my 40’s and prefer the look of athletic compression stockings (rather than the medical appearance of the ones made for edema etc...). But, the compression quality of the blue and black pairs of the Thirty 48 brand of athletic socks is just as good in my opinion, as any of the medical brands. They are far more comfortable and easy to put on than the medical grade stockings too. I did notice that the most recent time that I purchased the socks, the sizing options were different than they had been in the past. There used to be three or four size choice options, but the last time I purchased, there were apparently only two size choice options. I got the smaller of the choices, but that size was still larger than the smallest size I had previously purchased. It worked out okay for me (womanwith a size 8 foot) but, if you are a particularly petite woman, I’m not sure that the socks will be tight enough if there are just the two size options. I’m a little heavier now than I used to be, so the small/mediums size is working out for me now, but if I was 20lb lighter, I think I woul need the option of the smaller size that was previously available. That had been one of my favorite things about the brand- that the smallest size fit my somewhat shorter-than-average and thinner-than-average calf size at that point in my life. Now, the smaller of the two sizes is fitting my foot and just barely avoiding being too tall for my calves. But, I think this size might have been too big if my calves were still very thin. For me, these socks are s great fit, great value. I have pairs that I have had for four to five years, and they are still in quite useable condition with good compression and no holes despite many years of wear and many many trips through the washing machine..... so VERY durable and long-lasting. Lastly, these socks don’t cause itching for me! Any of the medical-grade products seem to be constructed of a material that I find very itchy after wearing all day. These socks still have a very elastic-feel, but don’t cause the itchiness that I,personally, find is common among the medical-grade stockings/socks.

Feel great
Although they are a little tough to put on, like most compression socks are. These are the most comfortable socks for long term use that I have purchased.

Short legs, big calves, average ankles, size 9 foot
What I need is a short length, wide calf sock. These are the closest fit I could find.I have short/ladies legs (straight measure from back of knee to floor is 17", fabric measure (adjacent to/touching leg) from back of knee to achilles indent is 14.5") My calves have a circumference of 18" at widest part, my foot takes a size 9 shoe. My ankle has a 10" circumference. These socks, I ordered the grey/black, grey/blue combo, come about to my knee, and dont need to be rolled down (ouch). The compression in my calves is great, not too tight, but still effective. However, the foot and ankle dont have much compression, as they are made to accommodate a larger calf/ankle/foot in tandum. The foot sizing is just ok for my size 9 foot; not a perfect fit, slight bunching at the ankle. I find I can work with the excess of length by being very careful when pulling the sock on, and distributing the extra length evenly throughout the calf.So while not perfect, I dont have to roll them down to deal with bunching. And thats about all I can hope for until more companies start making petite/short/non-unisex options available.I have not had these long enough to have an opinion on durability. I found both pair to be identical in size and fit.

It's a great product - but probably not for "beginners"
This is a classic below-the-knee strong compression product (20-30 pressure), made of the best materials for this kind of product - a durable and "comfortable" nylon/lycra blend. But it's probably too heavy a pressure for people unused to this type of product and might be a bit uncomfortable for anyone in very warm weather. A starter pressure might be in the 10-20 range, unless a doctor specifies the heavier pressure. A good lighter-pressure product ( and very comfortable even in warmer weather) is offered by Dr. Scholl's in this below-the-knee 10-20 pressure range to get started. Whatever you choose should probably be in the $10/pair range & this particular product at below $20 for 2 pairs is a very good value. Above-the-knee products are a whole different matter & if knee protection is important an ankle-to-above-knee spandex "sleeve" works very well with below-the-knee compression products. Most of these compression products work well with a thick cotton-blend, well-cushioned over-sock to protect the heel and sole of the foot, as well as the compression sock itself. Amazon seems prepared to ship this particular item extremely quickly, and did so in this case!

Way too small
I wear a size 12 and these are more like a size 4. No joke. Tight would be good. These are physically impossible to get over my foot. Are they for dolls or something?

Perfect
These socks worked so much better than I had hoped. They are quit hard to get on but I'm a large guy. They fit good and not too tight but the swelling is gone completely.
