A little difficult to "truly dry out once wet" ....good padding
Bought this as a mat outside the shower, with intention of just a towel on top. The dog had other ideas and peed next to the mat.....The 'moisture' was wicked under the mat, and cover the surface underneath. We were Never able to dry the surface underneath,[yes, we washed and used a towel to 'dry' it, but....] so that the moisture in contact with the tile floor never showed!

Mat Is Good For Light Use, Not Heavy Use
I purchased this mat in September of 2011, and have been using it until June 2012. I am an attorney who spends an average of 10 hours a day standing. The mat was purchased to combat foot, knee, and lower back pain from when I originally stopped sitting. When I first started standing at work, I noticed significant foot and lower back pain. I purchased this mat, and it originally alleviated the foot and lower back pain. However, I spend on average 10 hours per day standing at the office, and this mat does not provide the proper support for that amount of use. It is a cheap piece of vinyl that is obviously machine-cut from a much larger piece. These mats are being passed off as anti-fatigue mats, but they were most likely designed for another purpose. The vinyl is not attractive and should not be used where aesthetics are a concern.Pros:-The price is low relative to other anti-fatigue mats on Amazon.-Good for light use, perhaps standing one hour or less at a time.-The item is durable, and has not broken down after standing on it for nearly a year.Cons:-The mat is only 1/4" thick.-Does not provide proper support for someone standing eight hours or more per day.-Does not adequately prevent foot, knee, and back pain.-Made from cheap vinyl and obviously machine-cut off a much longer piece. Looks cheap as well.Bottom Line:If you are looking for a piece of material that will offer a low amount of support for a low price, this item is for you. However, don't expect this item to provide relief to your body if you are standing on it for long periods at a time.

Absolutely love it
Our household dishwasher recently broke, and we couldn't afford to replace it. Having to hand wash a large amount of dishes and silverware, we end up standing at the sink for hours a day. We had to get something to help our feet and backs, and so we started shopping for anti-fatigue mats. We were shocked how expensive most of the mats were. Then we found this mat, and bought two (one for in front of the sink, one for in front of the stove).I cannot say enough good things about them! They feel so good to stand on, and foot and back pain is nearly completely eliminated from standing a long time on them. They're also waterproof, and incredibly easy to clean. If something gets spilled on them, it easily wipes off. If there's dry crumbs/dirt/etc on it, it easily sweeps off with one swipe of a broom. As an added bonus, they do not get cold in the winter, so instead of standing on cold tile you can stand on a warm mat. I personally am barefoot most of the time, and tend to easily make impressions in these mats. However, they bounce back quickly, and retain their ability to provide cushioning. My mom wears shoes while standing on them, and they still help her out. The edges also stay flat and do not curl up or down. The best part about these mats is that they're so affordable! We got two mats for half the price of the more expensive ones.I would highly recommend this for anyone who has to stand in one place for a long time.

Not overly thick, but decent.
I use this mat when I'm standing at my stand/sit desk. My office is carpeted, so I took a chance that this inexpensive mat would provide enough cushion. My feet definitely feel better when I use the mat.It does a fairly decent job of cushioning my feet. I'm not sure if it would provide enough cushion if I were using it on concrete. It's plenty large so sometimes I fold it to double the thickness. It's not so thick that I sink into it, and for me that's a good thing. When I'm not standing at my desk, I roll up the mat and set it aside. When I stand in it, depressions from my shoes appear fairly quickly. However, they disappear when I take a break from standing on it. Overall, the mat seems to be good quality and durable. For the price point, I think it is a decent mat. If you want maximum cushion, this probably is not the mat for you. For me, it works as needed.

Love this mat
This is my 3rd mat I first had bought 1 of the smaller size ones then decided it felt so good at the sink that I needed one for my stove. After having 2 seperate mats for awhile I decided one large would be an all around a better option so I got this.I have cold tile floors in my kitchen and I normally am barefoot or in a minimalist show like 5 fingers or moccasin style slippers so I don't like something overly cushy.I can see how some people don't feel like this is enough cushion but it is perfect for me. Enough to keep my feet away from the cold tile and my back does not hurt even after standing at the stove or sink for long periods of time.I repurposed the 2 smaller mats one is under my table so my feet don't have to be on the tile when I am at my table and the other my dog lays on when we are in the kitchen.I am planning on buying a few more of these for other people to use in thier kitchens. I am normally very picky about what I give for gifts and skimp on products for myself. But for once me saving a few dollars on myself has led to a product I feel is good enough to give as a gift.

Helps relieve a bit of strain. It doesn't cushion ...
Helps relieve a bit of strain. It doesn't cushion as much as some others, but it's decent and reasonable. I use it for a standing desk.

Using Purolator sucked
I like the item. I thought it would be a little thicker however, but it's pretty good. I find that I can't stand on it for too long, I'm using it with my stand up desk because my hips and feet get sore and it isn't really helping that. There was a bit of a gash in it when received. I couldn't be bothered sending it back since I had so many issues with the delivery to begin with. So I'm not satisfied with that, as you can imagine. I think some things I should actually shop for in person and not through online shopping. My cats love it though! lolIt was delivered through Purolator which had me going to the depot three times in a row because the notice said it wold be there one day. I had to keep calling to get it delivered to the depot they said it would be at. With each call they'd give me a date and it wasn't there on any of those dates. The customer service rep at the depot told me my expectations were unreasonable because it was the holiday season. No, My expectations are that if you say it has been delivered, I believe it has been delivered. The original date they said it would be available was Dec 24th. I wasn't even bothered that it wasn't there then because it was Christmas eve. But to not be there on the 30th and 31st and then again not there on January 2nd and to be told I have unreasonable expectations, yes I was pissed. I didn't go to pick up the parcel until late in the day, each time, so they had all day to deliver to the depot. It was finally there on Jan 3rd and I guess my complaint got through to the rep because he knew my name when I walked in the depot centre. Both Amazon and Grand Canyon customer service were quick to respond and polite when I ultimately complained on Jan 2nd.Also it would be good if the Amazon Marketplace people actually provided the site with the parcel tracking numbers. It would save a lot of the aggravation.

Great value.
I'm standing on it now. It works and looks fine. We've got a nicer mat in the kitchen that cost way more and gives more support, but this one is certainly good value and does the job.

Great product!
This mat is wonderful. I purchased it before doing a craft fair because I find it incredibly hard to stand in one place for any length of time. I used the mat and I found it quite easy to stand behind my table. I would absolutely recommend this mat. It's a good size and fit under my 6' table when I needed to push it out of the way so I could sit down. Great product!
