Scrub your troubles away.
Finally a toilet cleaning brush that is not gross, dries out completely, and does not wear. There is a slight learning curve. It is shaped to fit different areas of the toilet. Hey, quit looking and buy this thing. We bought a second one for our other toilet. Enough of a testimonial?

5 stars as a hands-off cat brush...no idea how it works in a toilet...
I bought this FOR the toilet, but the cats got to it first. When I say 'got to it', I mean that I couldn't resist messing with them BEFORE I used it in the toilet. The problem is that it's just too effective as a cat brush to actually use in the toilet. I'd need a new one for that.PROs for a CAT BRUSH- the silicone does attract the stray hair that brush loose- it's too soft to annoy the cat - they really seem to like it- Long handle: You don't need to bend to their level if you're sitting down- the handle is long enough so that your hand is not in any danger if you're brushing them while doing something else (your hand is far enough away that even if they suddenly get annoyed with it, you shouldn't sustain annoyed-cat injuries)- it looks cool- i it doesn't look like a toilet brush, so keeping it in the corner of the living room is not an immediate turn-offCONS:- if cats decided to chew on this, it wouldn't stand a chance.

It works but
To me seems like it takes more work to use since it is a more sleek line brush. I will continue to use but will not purchase another one for my other bathrooms.Edit: Needed to change the stars. After using this brush for a period of time, it definitely cleans the toilet so much better. Toilet is sparkly clean. Will definitely purchase another for the other bathrooms.

Save Your Money
This toilet bowl brush is useless! I doesn't get the stains out of the bowl because of its shape and the fact that it is not flexible. It doesn't fit down the hole (chute?). It doesn't clean under the rim. Do Not listen if you read a blog that says this is he best toilet bowl brush to buy. It is NOT. The only reason I gave it one star is because of the holder. It holds a bottle of toilet bowl cleaner and you can face it toward the wall so the brush is not obvious.

Seemed great, but less so in practice
I replaced our very old Ikea toilet brush with this, and upon first use I see it has a few major flaws. The top part for getting under the toilet lip is a bit hard to maneuver into the spot it's supposed to clean. And when you're trying to get into the "schute" where the water leaves the toilet, this brush cannot get into the tight bend at all due to not having bristles on the sides and the spot needing cleaned being too narrow for the width of the brush, so that spot will just be dirty forever I guess. Maybe it's just incompatibility between my particular toilet and this particular brush, but unfortunately for me this is a rare disappointment from Joseph Joseph.

Hard to use, hard to clean
This item looks great but performs terribly. It operates more like a toilet comb than a toilet brush. After squirting the bowl cleaner you'll find that you are getting very little contact between the bristles and the bowl. Rather, you'll notice that the bristles have combed through the cleaner exactly as if you'd have dragged a hair comb through cleaner that you might pour on your countertop. The number of passes that you have to make to remove all of the cleaner from the bowl more than tripled the time that it takes to clean a toilet. Now let's consider "tougher" jobs. What a brush cleans away in a couple of swishes, this brush TAKES FOREVER to do. And then you're left with the fact that this thing just transferred the problem from one location to the next. Yep. Picture that. With a brush, I scrub, flush while holding the head in the bowl and give a quick spray before putting it back in the holder. And as far as any toilet brush can be considered clean, it's good to go. Not so with this brush. It greatly increased the time to clean the bowl and then it took even more time until the brush head was "clean" enough to put away.I very much wanted this item to perform better. I'd return it but, well, it's a toilet brush and to do so would be disgusting. The only good thing I can say is that water doesn't drip from the head but it failed in routine cleaning, it failed in cleaning hard water stains, and it failed in cleaning residue from the bowl. All of which an old fashioned brush accomplish easily.

Takes Some Getting Used To
I bought this after seeing a recommendation. I found it a bit awkward to use, it's shape is not anything like your standard toilet brush, but it did a good job. I think it will just get better as I get used to the fact that it doesn't bend, is unusual shaped. I like how compact the holder is; easy to put out of sight behind toilet. With the metal handle it is very sturdy; handle will probably outlast the brush. :-)I think at $14 it is overpriced. I am still deciding if I will buy another for our second bathroom. Money is tight right now; we are retired, fixed income.
