These do NOT come with adhesive, that being said the heels themselves are of good quality for the price point. I used them for a casual shoe that is worn sparingly.

I have no idea about thickness expressed in mm. They might want to give dimensions in inches as well, for us out-of-touch people who live in the past.The heel material should last a long time; it's hardier than expected. I intend to cut off small pieces to Shoe-Goo over worn areas of my walking shoes, not use the entire piece. My only concern is with the glue, not the heel material.I'll update this review if the material doesn't last long.

I bought these replacement rubber heels to repair my warm season Sunday shoes. The black plastic bottom of the heel had become brittle and was breaking apart. Removing the old part from my shoes was easy with a pair of pliers. The replacement heel was also very easy to cut to fit. I have weaker hands for my age and arthritis, yet I was still able to do it. Before removing the old heel, I traced it right on the new one using a ball point pen and then used my Faberware kitchen scissors to cut it out. It took me a little effort, but was much easier than I expected. Once I had the heels glued on, I used an Xacto knife to trim up areas that were a bit too wide. I've walked around the kitchen and the new heels feel great and have a softer sound than the old plastic ones. The heels look great and doing this myself saved me about $35.

Very thick--did the trick! A bit hard to cut, but worked very well. I was actually able to cut both heel replacements out of one of these and save the second one for another pair of shoes when I need to replace the heel.

Love them and they renewed my boots! Will definitely buy again if I need them for my other boots, I used a boot glue I also bought on Amazon. Both works great!

These will work, but if you are looking for a thicker rubber heel, look elsewhere. These are seem to be under 2.5mm and will wear through rather quickly. I put them on my shoes, but am expecting to replace sooner than I thought. I will not be buying them again, just because they are too thin.

it is durable rubber but it is too hard, definitely is not for shoes. I purchased this one to replace the heel rubber on my boots. the cutting and gluing is simple and straight forward, and rubber material seems durable. But this rubber is way too hard to be used on boots. when walking with it, my heel gets all the direct impact from ground and feels weird. Would prefer a softer rubber instead.

I bought these heels to repair a pair of boots that needed new heels due to the fact that I had worn the heels off of them! I was not sure what to expect when purchasing these but the thought of not being able to ever wear my favorite boots again was bothering me. I am so glad I purchased these. I was able to trim the down to the size of my boot and tack the heel in place. I would highly recommend purchasing these to repair your shoes or boots.
