The book arrived early. Beautiful cover and great reading.

I met Mr.Medrano at a demonstration he gave in Houston, Texas. His book his more than just a cook book. It tells you about the history and regions the food came from. It talks about the people and the way they cook their food. If your a Texan or like the food from here, this is a must have book.E. AlvarezHouston, Texas

Delicious recipes. Born and raised in Texas, I took immediately to the difference in Tex Mex and Texas Mexican he promotes. It's the food that was served in my friends and neighbors' homes as I grew up in the 50s.

This book sounded interesting, but when I read through it, there was absolutely nothing I wanted to make. Everything seemed to be made with the same seasoning. Boring!! I did not keep the book.

The recipes are things I generally already knew. There is some good history and good stories.

Got this book on a recommendation from my surgeon. He's a great surgeon and now I love him for his taste in cooking! Tex Mex rules our house and this book is now our staple for anything Tex Mex! Easy recipes with "on hand" or easily obtained ingredients.

Dishes created from these recipes are outstanding. Adan has captured the heart and soul of Tex-Mex cuisine and the result is captivating!

An excellent book by a tremendous Chef. Not only do you learn great recipes but a little history, that might surprise you. It did me!
