I love the quality and low profile . Easy to install and super easy to mount and dismount my bike. Only complaint is the two pieces that hold the tires in place easily fall off while removing the bike, but those pieces are meant to be adjustable to fit your bike length. Just wish there was a way to keep them strapped down. Overall, super satisfied.

The ProRide rack is solid. We mounted two on a carrier behind our RV to haul our electric assist bikes. They do a great job!

Exactly as advertised. All required parts included, installation easy. Bike is secure up there.

Great bike rack at a good price

After getting the hang of using this rack, it holds a bike steady and firm. Drove 70mph and no problems at all.

Can't use it since it didn't come with the necessary key. I see in another review it has happened before. Sad it's a problem that hasn't been corrected. Not recommended. Will update if company takes responsibility.

One of the Barrel Nuts was not threaded. It took me two weeks of driving around to find a replacement.

Habe insgesamt vier Thule 591 Fahrradhalter ProRide gekauft, damit ich auf meinem Auto (Seat Leon ST FR Baujahr 2016 (5F) unsere Fahrräder im Urlaub mitnehmen kann.Qualitativ machen die Fahrradhalter einen wertigen Eindruck. Bei der Bestellung mehrerer erhält man selbstverständlich zu jedem Halter ein eigenes Schlüsselsystem, was natürlich für erhöhte Sicherheit sorgt.Abgeschlossen werden kann sowohl der Fahrradhalter auf dem Dachträger, damit man diesen nicht entnehmen kann, und die Entnahme des Fahrrads selbst, damit niemand das Fahrrad einfach vom Dach nehmen kann.Lediglich die Radschalen machen einen nicht ganz so stabilen Eindruck. Allerdings müssen diese auch kein Gewicht tragen, sondern "nur" die Vorder-/Hinterräder an Ort und Stelle halten. Montiert man ein kleines Kinderfahrrad (in meinem Falle 20 Zoll), könnte es durchaus passieren, das eine der Radschalen genau über der Halterung des Fahrradhalters hängt, weshalb es sich dann schwierig gestaltet, den Zurrgurt der Radschale festzuziehen.Bisher hat noch alles gehalten. Längere Strecken werden folgen.Hat man die Fahrradträger bereits auf einem Dachträger montiert und alles auf dem Auto geschnallt, so dauert das draufsetzen eines Fahrrads keine fünf Minuten. Daher auch perfekt für einen Kurztripp.Meinerseits definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung!

Ottimo porta-bici, veramente valido, 100 volte superiore a qualsiasi porta-bici "economico" in commercio. Facilità d'installazione, sicurezza, solidità, estetica e funzionalità lo rendono il migliore in assoluto. Il sistema di blocco con il braccio automatico (protetto da serratura) è comodissimo e molto sicuro. Testato sia con bici da corsa da 7 kg che con bici polivalente da 20 Kg e non ha fatto una piega, risulta sempre molto preciso e valido.Unica pecca la necessità di smontare il braccio reggi-bici ed invertirlo nel caso se ne vogliano comprare due da montare uno a dx ed uno a sx. Qualora non si effettui questa operazione, risulterà impossibile o comunque molto difficoltoso caricare e bloccare la bici posta sul lato guidatore.Ne consiglio vivamente l'acquisto, anche se il prezzo è nettamente superiore alla concorrenza, ma la qualità, la solidità e, soprattutto, la sicurezza non hanno prezzo.

First off this was delivered ahead of schedule so can't fault the provider.Second this is my 2nd ProRide 591. I've use my old 591 for 4 years with no issues at all and plumbed for another having expanded the family cycle collection. Fitting to the roof bars is easy and you can configure the cycle rail which ever way you like e.g. key mechanism left or right side. Given your mounting your cycle on the roof of your car, if like me you have quite a high car it is essential that you can securely fix the bike with minimum fuss. The ratcheting arm works great in this respect as it easily holds your bike whilst you align the wheels into the rail.All in a great product and experience has show these hold you bikes firmly and they last for ages.
