Flambeau Outdoors 6051BC 2-Piece 10 Qt. Minnow Bucket, Live Bait Fishing Storage, Lime Green/White

My minnow dip net did not fit inside bucket. 🤷‍♂️

So no way can you fit the entire bucket into my live-well, wasn’t expecting that. I assume it’s only meant for the inner portion of the bucket to be inserted into the bait bucket slot, however, that also would not fit in my boat(2021 Lund angler). I have no idea which minnow bucket is supposed to fit, but I liked this one enough to cut my bait bucket slot in the boat to accommodate the bucket. These are easy to find/available buckets and worth making the adaptation to the boat. Used a razor blade and cut about 1/4” out around the livewell opening for this bucket to fully seat. Worth mentioning-even with the bucket fully seated, the bottom of the bucket will only be submerged maybe 4”-5” in livewell before the overflow drain. This isn’t great if you have a bucket of more than two dozen minnows…..not enough water for them. I can plug my live-well overflow drain easily and add more water if needed. A deeper bucket would make so much more sense. I like having my minnows in fresh water and having the bucket stored and out of the way.

The media could not be loaded. It fits perfectly on my tracker boat. You just need to snap off the small bracket that support an aerator and it will fit. The only issue is that it’s shorter than the original. I’m happy with it. For $20 bucks, it’s a good buy!

I bought this because some of the reviews stated that the inner bucket would fit in a Tracker livewell. It would not fit my Tracker Pro Guide V175. I still give 5 stars because it does seem to be a decent stand alone bait bucket, but don't expect it to fit in your boats livewell or baitwell.

Gave this a low rating for only one reason, it is not a 10 quart bucket. Looked like it was awfully small for 2 1/2 gallon bucket so I took time to fill it up. Before I could get 8 quarts in it, it was at the very top. Actually looks like it is well made but I ordered a 10 quart and not a 8 quart bucket. Not happy!
