The spring is left hand winding, I needed a right hand winding, I made it work.
It fit after I switched where it mounts, I needed it to mount on the left side of garage door, I had to mount it on the right side of garage door, the winding of the spring was left hand winding. So it was not too difficult to do. Spring is good, it does the job. Great product, came with two winding bars.
