Our r/c crazy 13 year old has been running and racing cars and trucks for about four years, and the Traxxas Bandit was his first higher-end remote control vehicle... and it has probably been his favorite.He has experimented with many combinations of axles, tires, pinions, and spur gears to boost torque or top-end, and this planetary differential shaft and sun gear set was exactly what he needed to refreshen his transmission. It is built to withstand the punishment he gives the tranny, and it is easy to install -- just remember how you took it apart (or cheat and watch a video on Traxxas' site or on YouTube for proper greasing and installation). The Bandit is an A+ ride ( Traxxas RTR 1/10 Bandit Extreme Sports with Water Proof XL-5 RTR and 7 Cell Battery with Charger ) for its price!The availability of replacement parts for the Bandit, like this set, greatly exceeded our expectations. These Traxxas cars and parts have been, and continue to be, an outstanding learning experience for him and that has been a blast to watch evolve.If you need to replace worn parts in your planetary diff like he did, or even if you just want to have a set as a spare in your tool box, you will not be sorry that you did. Don't use on 3s vxl they will not last. I've burned up 3 sets within 5 runs roughly.

Has help up to 2400kv on 5S inside an FLM sealed differential. No issues.
