Overall a great hammock! We had lots of fun using this for the first time with our 3 year old. It brings a new dimension to a walk in the woods and provides a great and portable eating location. In the pack are two strong straps with a usable length (after being wrapped around a tree) of about 1.5 metres each. The two carabiners are strong (although a little heavy). The hammock is well proportioned and comfortable enough to share with children or partners. It could do with being elasticated as some of the more upmarket hammocks are but at this price what you get is great value for money.

The hammock is in the heavier side compared to my DD due to the suspension; because it's bomb and idiot proof.The stitching is tripled as advertised and no loose threads which I expected and get on nearly any fabric item these days.The hammock itself is very lightweight and if you replace the suspension with woopie slings and lightweight caribearner (it comes with heavy genetic steel ones) will be ideal.The webbing it comes with is heavy but bomb proof and well stitched. But for backpacking is to heavy so I'll replace it with my light weight system.Hung it in the garage and had a very flat lay due to the spacious size, which I couldn't get in my DD. This is important to me as I'm a pad sleeper and not an underquilt.Honestly this should be double the price. If it had a integrated bug net and lightweight suspension I would happily pay triple or quadruple the price.Taking it out for it's first wild camp tonight so will update with stars but at the minute is more comfortable than my more expensive hammock.

I absolutely love my hammock. Putting it up is simplicity itself with the supplied straps. It packs down so small I just put it in my backpack if I go for a walk in the woods and can set it up or take it down in less than a minute. Tbh the only problem is now I've had a taste of hammock life I keep eyeing up expensive ones with mosquito nets and tarps so I can go camping in one!But for idling away an afternoon dangling by a babbling brook, in dappled sunlight, reading a book - this is all you need.

A large, lightweight and strong hammock, with good quality straps. Its extra wide and this makes it more comfortable, but remember you will need a larger tarp to cover .

Well made, and easy to use. Too much material so when you get in, you are totally covered and cocooned. Not good if claustrophobic.

Die Hängematte lässt sich in unter 5 min auf und abbauen. Dazu ist sie kompakt und dennoch sehr stabil. Das Material ist Atmungsaktiv. Die mitgelieferten Seile sind lang genug und haben verschiedene Stufen, um die Matte zu spannen.

Hab schon mehrere Sachen von Unigear ubd deren Qualitätskontrolle scheint sich bezahlt zu machen.Leichte Matte, praktisch zu transportieren und mit den stabileren Montagebändern. Diese findet man bei anderen Angeboten oft nicht.

I did not really expect a product that had the same looks, feel and quality as the expensive light hammock brands for hiking .. however when receiving the parcel I opened and was surprised by how wel it was made. I tested it just once in our own garden, but it feels like it will last us some nice cosy evenings during summer. for sure the stitching is probably not made to keep it outside the year round in bad wether etc... but then again.. who lies in a hammock when its raining and cold? for use as a real adventure long trip hiking hammock - i'd prsonally buy a more expensive one with a tarp and from a wellknown brand... but this one will do just fine for any standard hiking , we cannot all be extreme adventurers right?
