Not what I hoped for....
So far the net has proven to be "okay". I find a lot of the stiching to stretch out, then eventually burst. So far I've had to mend 4 holes that just continuously unravel into bigger holes if left unfixed. Im not in the US right now, so I didn't bother contacting amazon or the seller.I've been throwing nets since I was about 12...I'm 38 now. I've always used my grandfather's net that was recently stolen. He recently became ill and a bunch of family (some unknown) came over and it suddenly went missing. It was the one I learned to use and what I had been using ever since. I don't know the brand of it so I decided to try out this one. Believe it or not, my grandfather's net never tore....so the fact that this tore within the first month tells me this isn't what we had. I don't regret buying it, but I would not buy again. I wish I could get my grandfather's net back, but until then, the search continues for the right one.

Sent Wrong Size!
Ordered this 7 foot radius but got sent a 6 ft net. Even though container was clearly labeled as 6 ft size, someone stuck a bar code sticker on it and labeled it as a 7 ft radius. Measured and weighed it and it is 6 ft. and 6.15 lbs. Since there is over $11 price difference, I will have to return it. After seeing that it is cheaply built, I will probably buy a more expensive net,as I already have a 6 ft Fitec Super Spreader and was looking for an upgrade in quality. This is priced right for beginners and it comes in a nice little storage bucket. Lee Fisher nets were previously built in Florida and had a reputation for quality. The China version is typical entry level, but has real lead weights, not plastic coated steel ones. My first return ever on an Amazon purchase!

Good value but not perfect.
You get what you pay for and this is a great value but not a perfect solution. After soaking for 48hrs in fabric softener the main part of the net is nice and flowing. The issue lies in the weights getting tangled up in the draw lines in the bottom. have to untangle it between each throw. That being said it was a cheap net that does throw pretty good and if the kids get it tangled on an oyster bed I am not out a couple hundred bucks.

Wish I could toss it better
Nice net and reasonable size (7")For the life of me, I just can't seem to get it to open correctly or go very far.I suppose a surgical problem in my shoulder is the culprit. It takes a pretty strong twist of the body to get it going and some shoulder strength.

Haven't used this net in the water yet, but tossed it in my lawn and love it. This is an upgrade from a small 4.5ft radius net. This net is big! I was afraid I would struggle to throw it, but it is an easy net to use. Couple casts and I had a nice pancake hitting my lawn. It is weighted nicely and should get down on top of the bait fish quickly. It folds back up and into the storage bucket very well, which my previous net did not. Looking forward to filling this thing up with Shad! Buy this net, its a great value.

Black?
Not sure what the black means in the description or maybe i'm just ignorant with that as a nautical term or something. Well I thought the net would be made out of Black mono. It is not. Oh well. it's light, spreads well, and sinks fast.

cast net
Product is great very dependable and durable. Once I learned to throw it. Catches my gizzard shad very easily. Bringing my fishing experience to a new level. In the future I will purchase another one for back up. Even though this one is durable and user friendly.

Great Net!
Wanted to move up to a bigger net and thought I would give this a try. At first I couldn't get it to open and I struggled with throwing it; thought maybe it was too big for me (I am 5'4"). Wouldn't give up and on day three, I figured out the way to properly hold this net as compared to my last one. Now I am scooping in the shrimp!
