Great Buy Great Unit
Nothing to dislike. It worked very well the two days I have used it. I chose this scanner because I was replacing a wired scanner. I didn't want to have to download the program to use the wireless model. I plugged into the laptop and started using it right away.

Changing code types can be hard
Manufacturer needs to update scan chart for changing code reading, not simple to understand, they have new versions with quicker steps listed online

It's says works right out of the box, no dice.
When I read that this was compatible with my windows system and Microsoft word I figured this would be great to help inventory my cd collection. Sadly, in scanning I get absolutely no response on scanning EAN-13 ( US) barcode upon testing multiple titles. I tried using the provided coding barcode instuctions (Beware tiny print) and I get no action when I scan factory reset,the beep setting or resetting to EAN -13. It's a pity as I really hoped for this to help me out. I can't recommend this frustrating product.

Makes for cool light show, not a great scanner
Works great for entertaining my "free" cat. See other reviews for information on free cat. Also if I can interest you in a line of hair care products.
