Your Soul's Gift: The Healing Power of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born
I was enthralled by Your Soul's Gift - the power of the presentation and the enormously valuable information found within. It is a true masterpiece.Schwartz begins by sharing what motivated him to write the book: "For millennia humanity has learned through suffering. If we want to move beyond the learning-through-suffering paradigm, then such an understanding [of how lives are planned] is essential." And further: "To bring an awareness . . . of soul planning into the collective consciousness so we can heal the wounded parts of ourselves . . . and in doing so bring an end to incest, rape, and other forms of violation."A bit later, before the main body of work, Schwartz introduces himself, penning the trials he planned before birth and how his prayers were answered in his current lifetime. How powerful it is when an author shares his story of awakening with the reader! Yes, we learn volumes from those whose stories he tells, yet it is especially moving when we see who an author truly is in spirit.Your Soul's Gift is presented thoughtfully. The people presented in each chapter experience a different life challenge. Schwartz introduces the topic at hand and then skillfully talks with each person about their experience. Channeled information then sheds light on the life challenge and why it was planned before birth. The mediums and their guides share insights and offer very valuable suggestions as to how one can work through these situations to heal and find peace. Schwartz concludes each chapter, masterfully bringing together points that were raised, adding more insights and depth to the material covered. It's beautifully written and deeply inspiring. Many terms and concepts are introduced and discussed. We learn about free will, vibration or frequency, karma, being of service to others, the three layers of the soul, learning by contrast or opposites, the process of pre-birth planning, forgiveness work, how to heal traumatic wounds, and old and younger souls. Explanations are easy to grasp, and one is left with a greater understanding of and appreciation for the soul's journey. The chapters are brilliantly positioned. There is an ebb and flow to the poignant stories; the reader is given respites between high intensity moments. Schwartz uses intellect and heart to create a flowing piece that does not overwhelm, but instead threads hope, succor, and inspiration throughout the material. As each interviewee becomes enlightened by the information brought forth through the mediums' sessions, so, too, does the reader who sits in Schwartz's "classroom," where sensitive material is examined and discussed. The reader is privy to such intimate sessions and learns so much from the courageous people in the book. These individuals rose to share their trials so they could heal themselves and those who would read Your Soul's Gift.Schwartz suggests the reader ask this question: "If I planned this experience before I was born, why would I have done that?" He explains that this query encourages expansion of consciousness. He teaches us that all souls are equal partners agreeing to incarnate for their respective growth opportunities. He invites acceptance of pre-birth planning, which enables us to release blame and judgment of others. Embracing pre-birth planning also offers meaning to life; otherwise, the events of our lives are random and often seemingly useless. Schwartz suggests that if we move from passive, victim consciousness to that of active soul participant, we can relate to our fellow souls with greater compassion, understanding, and Love.I was very moved while reading Chapter 3, the story of Rebecca, who experienced a miscarriage. I wept, smiled, and remembered the miscarriage I had in 1997. Because I embrace the concept of planning at the soul level, the tears were sweet. I was inspired by the detailed account of the fetus being "the angel in human form."In Chapter 8 Schwartz dares to explore the pre-birth planning of incest. This is perhaps the most powerful chapter, deserving a second read through. I consider sharing something this controversial to be an act of bravery.Later in the book, Schwartz writes, "It is the awareness of pre-birth planning that can ultimately illuminate one to remember their soul's light, who they truly are." As I gleaned new information that expanded my spiritual knowledge, I felt reassured and comforted that the traumatic events I have experienced were not for naught; they were, in fact, pre-planned "gifts." To be reminded that we are not alone, that we are part of a soul group, that guides watch over us, and that we are all united as a Heavenly family brings me great joy. This book touched my soul, and I am deeply grateful.I would encourage people to consider this book for their personal healing. For you are not just a passive recipient of information here; you are a soul undergoing transformation. Your Soul's Gift overflows with wisdom for healing present and past-life traumatic events. Schwartz writes, "Your soul . . . longs to integrate its unhealed aspects." If you embrace this idea before sitting down with the book, you will release hidden, unresolved issues more readily. This book is a powerful catalyst for change, helping you move to new vistas.I highly recommend Your Soul's Gift. It's a gift to, and from, your soul.Joanie Eisinger [...]

“What if…”
This book is beautifully written and offers an alternative view on why experiences happen to us in our lives. You don’t have to believe in your soul’s planning of your life before birth, but “what if” it’s all true? It allows the reader to explore deeper meaning to the good and bad of life’s journey, and how important it is to appreciate and love each path we find ourselves on.

A MASTERPIECE!!!
This book, along with the preceeding book of Robert's "Your Soul's Plan" are a masterpiece of monumental proportion. The information in this book has not only answered all my previously unanswered questions about life in general and "Why does horrific things happen to good people", "Why am I always struggling", "Why does the Earth experience seem so cruel", "What's my purpose here"?; but has lifted me above the proverbial earth 'rubble' to a new, more enlightened perspective from every angle; not just on a human level but also on a soul level. This book, along with his other book, together, have allowed me to view all experiences from a Higher perspective, and remove my 'blinders' to see that the meaning to our existence, and the lessons in each of life's experiences lies below the surface. Each of my once long-standing questions, trying to make sense out of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" has not only been answered from within these pages, but has 'cracked the safe wide open' illuminating its hidden contents. I discovered the true and profound meaning to the saying: " We are not human beings on a spiritual journey; We are spiritual beings on a human journey" (by author Stephen Covey), which Robert's books have given more clarity to on a whole nother level. Although I respect other peoples opinions as if they were my own (no matter how different or polar-opposite they may be than mine), I must at least express the sadness that I feel for those who deem this information with a stereo-typical stamp of "Beware of false prophets" syndrome. I don't believe Robert or his gifted friends ever claimed to be prophets, not a hint of that claim anywhere in these writings, in fact I read them thoroughly and they are expressed with humility and a nod to "simply take from these readings what you feel to be true and to leave the rest behind", philosophy. The labeling of someone as "A FALSE PROPHET", where no where in his writing was this ever the claim, is a very destructive and serious accusation, unjustly marking this author's brilliant work with an unjustified "Scarlet letter". I am saddened by these types of comments Robert, a high price of unjust and unreasonable criticism that unfortunately every author has to pay. People aren't aware that not only does an author NOT become rich by writing books (unless your first name begins with Stephen, and ends in King); typically it takes years to even recoop your publishing expenses. Most authors publish books as a result of feeling compelled to help other people by the simple means of passing the message FORWARD -period. And commonly reap the rewards of their selfless acts, which took years in the making, by unjustified criticisms by those who were unable, for whatever reasons, to receive the message that was intended to be delivered, with correct interpretation. I know I can't force someone to read any book and I also know that I can't help them find the accurate interpretation of what the real meaning in the message is or was, and I also know that YOU understand this dilema Robert probably more keenly than I, so you know all too well, NOT TO TAKE THESE TYPES OF CRITICISMS PERSONALLY. Speaking for myself, I wish I could deliver the copies of your two books to everyone's doorstep as a random act of kindness but short of that I have recommended and even purchased it for those who I love who I knew would not only read them, but "get" them... Keep up the good work that you were meant to do in this lifetime, you restored my sanity. Please continue writing books of this similiar nature; and am secretly hoping to read more from you on the subject of "Fear-based" living as opposed to love-based living since this is so prevelant in the human condition and so destructive and self-perpetuating. God Bless, Richard

A Gift from Our Soul
I read Schwartz's first book, "Your Soul's Plan" already and felt this one went more in depth and covered some disturbing traumas, so I had to read this one gradually. I felt that the author really helped the reader understand the ways in which our soul's plan certain aspect of our lives for spiritual growth. This gives the reader the sense that not everything we go through here in earth school is for nothing. For me this softened some of the pain I have experienced in this lifetime and helped to answer the universal question of "Why me?".I have to reiterate what the author states in the beginning urging his readers to give the book a try and if it's too hard to read or doesn't resonate than discontinue reading. If you're searching for understanding about why our soul's plan some hard to take life events then "Your Soul's Gift" will give you what you're looking for and feeling courageous at the same time!

Amazing book - a must read
This book is well written and easy to understand but most of all it spoke to my heart. It gave me information about healing, about what a life plan is about and about answered many spiritual questions that I have been seeking. But most of all it gave me confirmations. Loved the book and recommend it to everyone.

Shift in perception
It's dense and demands a lot of self-reflection. I think it delivers what it promises: a shift in our perception of life's challenges.

Excellent information but too repetitive
I read first his previous book and I thought it was very interesting. So I bought this one to keep exploring. The topics are amazing as well as the perspective of the soul, which teaches us so much. However, I find it too repetitive. He could have chosen to put in more stories, since talking over and over about the same person’s challenges unfortunately becomes a bit boring.
