Review: Easy, delicious, Winter treat - So...the box information is all written in German, but instructions are not really needed. I like to prepare one Cappuccino cup at a time using my microwave to warm the wine. Open the box of GluhFix and inhale....a pure heaven mix of spices floats up to tickle your nose. Use a good red wine and drop the “teabag” of spices in and heat to warm. Let the spices steep for a bit and try a sip. Oh Yeah! Not too sweet ( as far as I can figure since I don’t read German, this is not packed with sugar...just spices...and that, unlike some mixtures for spiced wine that are more sugary, like Russian Tea, let’s the wine shine through.) This is so fabulous that I had to share, so I gave a few spice bags to a neighbor. She was so enthusiastic, that I gifted her with a box and bought more for me while I was at it ( expiration dates on the boxes I got were a full two years out :-). I think this would work really well to add flavor to other beverages like hot cider or even a Winter twist on Sangria. This is a Winter winner! 10 star delicious! Very nice
I bought these at Christmas time to make spiced wine for my family. It turned out great. I also appreciated the ease of use being in tea bag form. I had some left over so I started to add them to my black tea. So yummy!

Convenient for a cuppa mulled wine
Skiing in Europe during the 70's, same tea bags used on the slopes. No reason to change a good thing. Only thing missing (at least at my home) is the hot poker from the roaring fire that the bar tenders used to heat it up. Good stuff.

not much favor
I fancied mulled wine and bought this. It's convenient but the taste was too thin, especially when added to red wine. I used it as regular non-caffeine tea bags with a touch of mulled wine. don't think I will buy again.
