Audio SunHat for Headphones and Ear Muffs, Sand

Works well. Looks funny. Does not fit my headphones right but it keeps the sun off me.

So, not a sound man here, but use headsets when I fly. If you have an airplane that is low wing and the canopy is exposed to the sky then you know how hard it is to get shade on your head when wearing a traditional pilot's headset. This hat will keep the sun off of you and your headset sealed properly to your ears so the noise cancelling is effective. No, you may not look cool, but there's hardly anyone to judge you when you're several thousand feet in the air. I'm considering contacting the manufacturer to see about getting some wholesale to sell at Sun n Fun in Lakeland this year. Get them now!

Clever design allows you to have the headphone band thread though the bill of the cap. Unfortunately, won't work with my "Worktunes" set of headphones because the area in the cap doesn't accommodate headphones that have the wide "wishbone" type attachment between the headphone band and the earpiece. Be sure to check to make sure your headphones have a narrow headband and small connection to the earpieces.

Very pleased with the quality of this hat. Needed something that would allow me to wear over the head hearing protection. This is the only thing out there. It works. I wear it. The ONLY complaint I have is the price point. It is not inexpensive. Still, I expect it to last a long time and would buy again.

I purchased this because it was a recommended item for use with the 3M WorkTunes that I got for father's day. Unfortunately, the hat is not compatible with the headphones. The flat openings are not wide enough for the headphones to fit. Additionally, because of my large head (23.5") the cutouts for the headphones ended up being in front of my ears, so it wouldn't have worked even if they were long enough. Finally, hat fit decently, but the bill was a little wavy due to my large head distorting the shape.This may work for people with smaller heads using a different kind of headphone (ones with a single support stem).

Hat seems durable enough and the light color helps reflect the sun. I live in a sunny, hot, and humid state and need more sun block than a baseball cap provides. This hat serves that function--just not when wearing headphones. I can get the Gardtech headphones on while wearing the hat--i just have a terrible time lining up the snaps on the hat once the headphones are on. And if the snaps aren't snapped, you don't get much sun protection.Because it is so hot for six months out of the year, I remove the headphones whenever the mower or leaf collecting unit is off. The headphones cause my ears to sweat and they aren't super comfortable. But the Stingray hat design makes it difficult to easily remove and put the headphones back on.Fabric is synthetic, but unfortunately that's the case w/ most hats these days. Price is too high compared to other headphone-shade hats that are easier to use.

I have been looking for a sun hat like this for a while now, can use my ear muffs and still have great sun protection.This is a really good idea, investment, for working outside and still have the ability for ear/hearing protection. I hated using the little yellow sponge ear canal plugs......they will push ear wax only further down your ear canal! No more ear wax plug-ups!
