Marvel Venom Build-a-Figure Legends Series Spider-Man Peter Parker 6-Inch Figure

This is one nice figure! Articulation is actually nicer than the previous Spider-Man mold (of which there are many repaints of different characters and versions). As this figure is a repaint of the Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales version, he is smaller than the other figures, meaning that this version of the character represents him as a 15-year-old when he was first bit by a radioactive spider. Although I much prefer the 28-year-old sarcastic version of the character and larger sized figures, it wouldn't be fair for me to subtract a point for what the figure is supposed to represent anyway. He can be posed in all kinds of positions, especially the contortions seen in the comics. Although tinier than the previous molds mentioned above, there is an improvement with the shoulder sockets that look much more seamless with the overall figure, especially helping to keep the webbing looking consistent as his arms are bent. However, they feel stiff, as does his torso. It is a minor annoyance that the arm joints have red within the blue areas on the inner arms, but by no means do they detract from an otherwise perfect figure. The head is a nice touch and the hand attachments work nicely and are proportional to the body. He also comes with an arm of the BAF Venom Space Knight. Some webbing for him to hold or hang from would have been a nice touch.

I personally like this one much more than the Marvel Legends Infinite Series Spider-Man, a.k.a. "Pizza Spidey", which until now has kind of been the gold standard for Spider-Man figures. That figure had two major flaws that kept me from loving it: it was very glossy and shiny, and his limbs were rather lanky. This figure does away with both of those issues. Because it is based on the Ultimate version of Spider-Man, he is about an inch shorter to reflective his young age. And instead of gloss, his paint job is matte. This does have a bit of a downside in that he's less colorful as his Infinite Series counterpart, but it doesn't detract much from the quality of the figure. Well articulated, with a good amount of accessories, this figure is definitely worth the price. Though I do have a bias for the Ultimate version of Spider-Man, this is definitely my favorite Spider-Man figure so far.

This figure is really good but I had to deal with stiffed joints on the shoulders, but I fixed it with a hot water technique. Overall really good figure but I only recommend it to collectors.

this figure does have great posability and articulation but sadly the figure isnt the same height as other marvel legends action figures but if you are doing stop motion you can mask his height by making his legs bend down (by meaning that making it look like he is short because he is bending his legs) but overall a great figure

This is the best Spider-Man Legends figure I have ever bought. Not only is it awesome to see a size-accurate teenage Ultimate Spider-Man figure, but it's articulation and accessories are both awesome. Highly recommend this one.

It’s not necessarily a bad figure but it’s not the best either.... I’d rather keep “pizza Spider-Man” on my shelf than this one mainly because he fits in scale with the rest of my collection. This Spider-Man is ok to have
