After breaking in the foot straps, the new pedals work perfectly.

These pedals work just fine for me. I'm new to the sport and bought a used road bike. Took a little getting used to trying to get my feet in the cages and stay upright, but that's just me and my clumsiness.

Bad quality. The pedals are Wellgo M-21, which is kinda crappy. The ball bearings are really bad, you can feel the friction when you hold the pedal by the screw and try turning it.I bought Wellgo LU-954 for 15$ from canadian tire. The LU-954 are absolutely not known to be high quality, don't even come with toe cages, but they're definitely much better than the M-21. So I transferred the toe cages from theses to the LU-954 (fits perfect cause both are wellgo), and I pretty much threw these ones to the garbage.If you need a pair of pedals but you're broke, don't go for these. Go for the cheapest plastic pedals you can find (amazon sells some for about half the price of these), they won't be any better than these, but they'll cost a lot less.

It should be noted that these are Wellgo brand pedals.Performance and build quality is as expected for the price.These are perfect for your beater/commuter.
