Q: Does this set have felt on the bottom or is it metal? My current one is and it has stained the marble.. Or any other suggestions. Thank you.

Plastic holder thru out. Easy to wipe and sturdy enough.

Q: My question is regarding the combo brush and plunger. Does it have holes to help the excess water evaporate or does it pool and collect in the bottom

It pools at the bottom of mine. Have had a few years now and works great. I just put some cleaner or bleach in the toilet bowl and clean it once in a while.

Q: Is this really 21.5 inches long? Right now my plunger and brush only take up 11 inches, I can't imagine needing 10.5 more inches for a container...

As it sits on the floor, it is ~ 11 x 4 inches of floor space. It is ~ 22 inches tall. I hope that helps

Q: Does plunger collect water in head? I have a plunger I want to replace because water collects inside of the head and never evaporates. Gross.

I haven't had hat issue because I make sure to shake excess water off of the plunger head before placing back in holder.
